i was able to find ayatsune's demo and a very old japanese "utau library" website that lists a youtube video of her (which seems to have been deleted) and what i assume is her creator's channel. i also cannot find anything on "butler", their name is too generic for anything to come up.

If the desc of those videos is anything to go by, it seems like the "creator" of them is Sora. And the voice provider is likely also her doing a different voice.

Ayatsune's design is in the video you linked so in the case we have to remake her we at least have something to use as a reference.

r2 was a joint effort between me and an irl friend, any Hanashi art that wasn't posted by me was probably done by her! Hanashi and BUTLER (and Helena Ayatsune) were both voiced by her, and I don't assume to have any authority over either of them ^^;

While I won't confirm who I am at the current time, I /can/ confirm I wasn't the original A because I never used VO, and that the description of my channel states my channel is a spiritual successor. HOWEVER! I do know the original A and talk to them. I also made A in koikatsu because I like the character (and Death Note) a lot. I DO think the world is an insanely small place that people can mutually recognize each other through third parties like this, though.

Pretty much every vocal-synth that isn't UTAU uses AI nowadays, that includes VoiSona and Maghni. And Sora already said in the previous thread that she doesn't allow training AI on Hitori's voice. So I don't see that happening.

the fact that the vp is still active and in the community after all these years is pretty amazing.
there's so many utau creators whose stuff i like but its from the 2000's and they're inactive and it's impossible to find their current social media accounts (and that's assuming they're alive in the first place)

Also i should mention that this is just a cover mod, so it only replaces the songs. For the module I recommend just commissioning someone on vgen. There's people willing to do it for cheap.

That being said i hope to cover not the entire catalog but a large portion of the songs in the game with this mod.

Hey, hi! I'm not sure what happened since I was refreshing and checking here every few days but it never updated past 36205 so I thought it was dead T-T! Maybe something to do with my cookies..? In any case, I'm still here~

I do like the idea of doing appends a lot! If there's any interest for a specific sound, I'd love to know. Also which format would be preferred (I know VCV is more standard but it's also a lot longer, so not sure what the preference would be!)

I had a lot of fun recording her and I don't mind recording more, my issue is more that I lack the exp to gauge what sounds good just off of my samples and since I'm getting so much help on the oto I don't want to be a pain and go back and forth on specific syllables and such...! But I do always love Hitori and feel super lucky that she is loved by people here, so I'm always interested if there's any requests for something of her :) <3

(My schedule should open up a bit more in November and I've played around with utau and recording software more since re:, so hopefully any subsequent recordings just get better and better!)
