"After 9 years in development, hopefully it will have been worth the wait." - Gabe Newell.
39chan is now running on koshi, the same software used by hikari3. We named 39chan's version of it "hitori" in honor of the UTAU voicebank Kanane Hitori, whose voice provider visited our boards a while ago.
The Hitori engine adds a ton of features which vichan was missing, and will help us combat spam even harder than before. Thank you for your patience and we hope this update makes your browsing experience better.
