It's possible that some of the files are encoded in Unicode and others in SHIFT-JIS. My PC defaults to UTF-8, and maybe T39 saved the new files with her full name etc. in JP encoding since that's more common. Not sure 100% but my best guess.

Most of her covers are in Japanese and were released pre-1.2. I think the reason she's more popular than the others is that much more work has been put into her and her design is just really good and appeals to the Japanese as well (most of the fanart of her on Twitter is from Japanese people).

Id say just make family name black, given name red. Pop a crown on top of the 音 kanji since the top is already crown like to me in shape.
