I found this site linked on rottingangels.org, and I found that I think via lainchan in the context of it being a possible replacement for 420chan. I've been using altchans a lot recently due to becoming bored with n0rmal websites.
My contrarian choice for favorite vocaloid is Flower because I really like her voice and visual design, but realistically I listen to Miku 10+x more than her just because she has the most songs.

Been using Uboachan on and off for some years now, found someone talking about this place in a communities thread & my heart leapt. I've been making covers for about 8 years now but have grown entirely disenchanted with the community nowadays, as an oldhead that remembers the atmosphere of the scene as far back as 2011. It feels like a big relief to have found a community of people with similar dispositions. I want to make covers again, but with my poor health & foggy mental state the past year or so, and lack of good company in most spaces, it's lost it's sparkle. I'm hoping having a space to talk about it can revive some motivation!!
My favorite is KAITO!

Hello, I was on /miku/ on old 8chan (and later on endchan) Tetobread linked to this 39chan so here I am
I found old 8chan through ats and found ats through 4chan /x/. I was originally told about 4chan by a classmate in college and started browsing its /b/ (I think this was in 2006) one day the order of boards was backwards and so /x/ was in the place /b/ usually was. That's how I originally started browsing /x/. Now you know my story

Absolutely! His singing and personality are both wonderful. I used to keep up with his work and activity more frequently via his Twitter, but that was just about the only reason I'd ever use that God-forsaken website, and since the change in management it just hasn't felt worth having to deal with the login prompts and other issues.
I love how he's truly Kaito's biggest fan and calls him 'son', very blessed to have such a lovely voice provider. I hope he's in good health.

I've heard about it since launch on various places, namely imageboards, but elsewhere too. As an early-2010s oldgen this means a lot to me. I did a bit of lurking and it feels a lot more welcoming than anywhere I've been in this community.
My favorite Vocaloid is Miki. Her best design, in my opinion, is her V2. Her SV bank is okay, I guess. But the robotic nature was her charm.

I like exploring and scavenging through the internet, since 2021 or 2022 because of 4Chan. Finding imageboards, textboards, and message boards (I used to also find IRC and BBS) is so fun! I really enjoy it, especially when the forums I find are quite active; I really like discovering lively small communities, it makes me wonder how many forums are out there that has a dedicated community.

Word of mouth brought me here. Friend is an active poster so I decided fuck it why not.
I have experience with imageboards though. I used 4chan before Hiro took over.

I found it through imageboards.net at first a while back, then during the 4chan hack I jumped around altchans and found this place to be the most comfy so it's one of only two altchans I still use often now that 4ch is back. I don't really have a favorite Vocaloid. I usually just say Miku but no vocal synth has really grabbed my heart enough for me to call them my favorite. I'm fairly new to being a vocaloid fan so I take it in stride. [spoiler]2016 is new right. :p[/spoiler] I'm also fond of Adachi Rei and the Kagamine twins.

I like imageboards; more specifically, I like their functionality. Unfortunately, many imageboards have abysmal moderation, a rancid board culture, or they are dead.

I also like bishojo, because they are easy on the eyes (obviously). I have read some manga and watched some anime, but as time has passed, I have mostly lost interest in engaging with their source material.

And I like music. I like being able to put something on in the background while I do other things, and I like the feelings that it evokes in me.

Finally, I like the sound of vocal-synths - the feminine ones - they are pleasant to listen to, and they have this inhuman, flawless quality that enjoy.

I am here because this place offers a convergence of many of my interests and aesthetic tastes, without the need to consume media that I no longer care about, just to participate in the conversation, and without the terrible attributes that I associate with other websites.
