So, this is more for a future project, but what topics do you guys find aren’t often talked about in music? More so kinda tabooish leaning. I’m trying to come up with a concept for a future project that addresses topics in such a way and of course research them best I can, though it always helps to have ideas from what people might want to hear in that regard.

To be fair there aren't many topics I'd like to see represented in Vocaloid but rather music genres that I feel haven't yet been explored by most Vocaloid producers like Folk Pop, Psychedelic Rock, Synthwave, Disco, etc. "Denpa" seems to be the current trend in Vocaloid right now with most current hits (Mesmerizer, Magical Cure Love Shot, Override, etc) falling under the "Denpa" umbrella term, with a few outliers like Inabakumori (who makes dance punk) getting a viral song every once in a while.

Sorry if I'm hijacking the thread by bringing this up but I just thought I'd mention what I want to see from Vocaloid producers.

I only know you from Stickman. It'd be nice to hear some more post punk style songs like that.

Yes, both the JP and EN lyrics are on my Piapro along with the instrumental track. I think some folks have added them to vocadb as well. The links to the lyrics should be in the video description and my website.

I don't think many people are following this particular thread but for those curious about the Stickman VSQ it is ready; I'm just waiting for the view count to get that fourth digit. I think there are about 25 views left until it moves over. I'm hoping it reaches there before Otomachi Otomo releases because that video will definately over take the post.

For those curious about what stuff I'm bringing to the table, it's a lot, but good. A brief list.

I have 2 songs complete and just need music videos, which will release between now and the end of August.
I have 1 song complete on my end but am awaiting next steps.
I have 1 song in a tuning phase.
I have 1 song needing lyrics.
I have 2 songs in a very early demo phase.

Not a single one of these songs shares a vocal. I will be contributing a lot to the music side it seems gbfndkjs

Sadly no but I’ve been contemplating making alternative versions with different vocals for my ko-fi to give it more purpose again and some are on the list of vbs I want to use one day.

My friends mentioned on their new site that they made various contacts within the industry. Even outside the development side of things we had worked with Celestrai (Eclipsed Sounds) and eventually they had connected with Infoholic (Chorical) who would introduce them to Techno-Speech. Everyone in the friend group knew the long term goal was going to be commercial development, completely blindsided the rest of us until a week ago though lmao.

What also helped a lot was Danyon, ePi, and Stair becoming more prolific in the scene as producers, so they were able to form connections in the event they were commissioned for demos as well. We’re very proud of them~
