Uh, I wanted to make a thread about recently releasing/released merch, and I figured I could start with the Snow Miku kuji that's been released recently! It started 12/11 and ends 1/5.
To explain Kuji, it's like a merch gacha. You buy a certain amount of rolls and you get an item for each roll. Risky if you’re after maybe 1 thing out of the prize list but if you’re in love with everything it’s a neat surprise!
There's a lot of beautiful Miku merch releasing this Kuji.

Love the big illustration boards and the last prize version of the figure, The metallic shiny hair is very nice. Never been much of a fan of printed shikishi, I have a few but don't really know what to do with them.

If I were buying tickets I would want B, C, D, and E the most.

More leaning toward Teto and Rei as far as plushies go. If Miku a design more specific to a producer or song since I only like how she sounds about half the time. I am not sure on others like Zundamon and TT-chan since some I'd think feel more appealing as figures but if I saw some plush I liked then yeah. Just whatever catches my eye and isn't poorly made.

I've heard good things about Hiby for their high fidelity DAPs but I am not sure on this exact model the M500 since it's controls and features are a bit different from the similarly priced R4 and I think the earbuds likely aren't worth it since I have not really heard any hype on their earbuds quality unless you just want to be competitionist to have a full set. I do know it runs a custom Android so it's pretty much same as a phone, you just are in it for the sound quality for the relatively low price for hifi players, two kinds of audio jacks and the physical buttons since otherwise you in theory could grab the ROM they use and put it on any phone if someone ports it.

If your nendo is just standing around, the support stand is sufficient so that the head’s weight doesn’t topple it over. I’ve only had problems when the peg connecting it to the fig. In that case, the peg/hole deformed enough to not fit anymore and so the stand doesn’t work anymore. That was on a much older model though so maybe not a problem now.

Turns out they're really chill about sending international orders, you just need Rednote to contact the OP and Alipay to pay, which are both gigaeasy to set up for foreigners. If it comes from a Chinese website like AliExpress or Temu it's 100% going to be a low quality bootleg. So avoid it for figures or plushies. Clothes aren't the greatest quality as someone who's recklessly bought cosplay stuff from Temu and I'd imagine AliExpress isn't any better but if you want to put something together in about a week it's fine.

I've definitely bought official otaku goods on AliExpress before so I wouldn't necessarily rule it out. I think it's kind of like Amazon where it's just another place that suppliers tend to throw listings on even if it also allows shitty bootleg stuff. The stuff I got specifically wasn't Vocaloid, it was a Chiikawa plushie and a BJD blind box (It was a Chinese branded series though so that definitely contributes to them being able to have the legit one on hand), but they're in the same vein of cute merch and they were both 100% legit so take that as you will.
