I don't see the need for it since Vip-chan managed to make a diffsinger on her own, voxsoft is making one for Sena and the vp of tomboy is making one too I believe. Vip also said people can ask her questions regarding diffsinger. It just seems like an unnecessary step to get them involved. They also have a lot of people in their lineup already.

I think partnership would probably be more appropriate than selling the rights to leekas, it would get them recognition without giving away the character that was made by a collective effort. Think of UTAU France that are partnered with them and you can download their voicebanks through Lunai's fork of OpenUtau, but UFR still keeps the rights.

I also assume that just like with 4chan a large part of the 2channel community has either outgrown the site and/or given room to the new generation, causing it to become disconnected from its roots.
