We can't stop winning

Really curious how she'll be integrated into the AHS family. I think merch's a given at this point but will they have her at their next live event? And since AHS is a Japanese company, will they give her Japanese language support?.

The announcement also made me realize that she appears to have a small but existent Japanese fanbase. And given that other English voicebanks have received support for other languages I could see her getting it too for her SV2 release.
>>
>>35595
In the case of concerts it'd be interesting because if they were to integrate her into AHS Sensation or Songs Love type concerts it opens the possibility of a small tour in the US or Europe. They've already done concerts in some parts of Europe during the mid 2010's. Most of Eleanor's fanbase is from the US and Europe despite having a small amount of Japanese fans. Maybe i'm just delusional but think about it.
>>
>>35596
AHS american tour would be a dream come true for me
>>
>>35595
They probably already had other languages planned before AHS

I better see western producers drop Teto for at least one day and make stuff with her and not another Mirai Komachi situation where everybody seemed excited for her new voicebank and when it released no one used it.
>>
>>35619
I think we're seeing less English Teto stuff already anyway. It's only the big producers that refuse to use other voicebanks.
>>
>>35623
Yeah I've seen a bit of jump in Rin duets + Gumi. Most Teto songs I've recently seen are from Japanese and Korean producers. Not complaining since I always preferred Gumis English anyway. I think big EN producers will (or at least should) put out at least 1 one song with Eleanor since all a good amount of them including big ones like JamieP were retweeting it and even saying "reach me out if you need someone for demos"
>>
>>35592
So glad to be off the emotional rollercoaster, I'm really hoping she can get merch now!
>>
>>35619
Only producer I know of that uses Eleanor is TONE.
>>
>>35631
ippo.tsk
>>
>>35619
To be honest i never saw anyone discuss Mirai Komachi's new voicebank outside of here but then again I avoid social media.
>>
>>35631
I know myself and some of my friends have used her, there’s ippo.tsk like >>35633 mentioned, Jamie and Flavor Foley, KAT.

There’s a healthy mix. I just hope some folks are brought on for English demos.

While now you know another one because im going to use her when i stop being lazy and finish my third album and the song lyrics for said album
>>
>>35631
StardustLegend was the person that introduced me to her existence by making shitpost remixes with her before delving into actual originals.
>>
>>35635
Her reveal post got a lot of views to the point of it even leaking out of voice synth scene. I think they also organized a "release party" type of thing for her but after those everyone just moved on.
>>
>>35646
Honestly i think it might've been because it released on V6 and a majority of people just don't seem to care about V6 for whatever reason.
>>
>>35623
That's one thing I've noticed too. Small producers are more likely to branch out while big producers will always stick to Teto. We need Circus-P back.
>>
>>35647
V6 is overhated. It's on par with Cevio honestly.
>>
>>35652
A lot of the hate is thankfully dying down but I do think a big thing that would help is if they brought back the vxb 2.0 vocoder. The fact they made 3.0 use a slightly improved V6.3 based one is unfortunate.i know OmniVocal still uses it, but I need that major revision, especially if v6 is staying around a bit longer.

I think she gets reasonable usage here and there. I really like this newer song

>>35657
If you want real oddball usage, she’s been used as background vocals in some DadFeels songs.
>>
im soo excited about this eleanor news,, she really looked like if she was to be the en miku and then she exploded and died
>>
If only the original Engloids could be saved
>>
>>35647
It's just that there's so many options and all of them are better than V6.
>>
>>35663
its ok, maghni will revive them ofc xd

Can't wait for the eventual Eleanor plush
>>
>>35642
How are we going to find your album if we don't know who you are
>>
>>35683
Does AHS still do plushes anyway
>>
>>35669
It's not funny anymore
>>
>>35653
The hate mostly comes from how outdated it sounds. Yamaha was late to the whole AI thing and when V6 came out SV already existed, was cheaper and sounded miles better.
The earlier posts from the V6 thread on this site kinda reflect how people felt about it before Miku's new voicebank and FAN-DING kinda cleared its reputation. Though some people still think it sounds like shit.
>>
>>35714
It sounding like shit highly depends on the voicebank imo. Ooka Miko for example sounds perfectly fine.
>>
>>35714
I mean, I’m not arguing over the sound quality. Even though I like the fuzz personally, it’s also difficult to work with so I think the distaste around the noise is genuinely reasonable, especially since they’ve shown they have the means to improve the sound quality multiple times but actively choose not to despite the complaints.

I also wouldn’t exactly say they’re late. The AI engine itself was actually in R&D since V3. We just didn’t see the results until the Hibari Misora project in 2019. At most they were late to commercialization.

Like I said, I’m glad that the hate is dying down, but I do think there should still be more outcry and push for Yamaha to improve the quality because they’ve proven its capable of being better and if they insist on keeping v6 as the current version for longer, a major revision that improves the sound quality and reduces noise is necessary.
>>
>>35735
Ironically Hibari Misora sounded a lot better. I wonder if it really is as simple as just changing the vocoders.
>>
>>35732
It’s a combination of the engine and the bank. A lot of banks available only have bare minimum data, meanwhile some of the newer banks we’ve been seeing have a lot more. Heck, some of the ones originally part of VXB have extra data because they needed it for a specific feature at the time, but as a result of the engine change, their sound quality was reduced.

It goes hand in hand.
>>
>>35736
Possibly. What we do know is the same team that worked on Hibari Misora was also the same team that developed VXB during the research phase and is likely the same team currently developing OmniVocal.
>>
Are there any comparison videos of VBX and V6
>>
>>35760
I’m not sure, but my friend ePi was able to get into the research program and we were able to pretty much see the changes through them. We were all pretty frustrated when VXB 3.0 released with a downgrade in quality compared to 2.0 which was released right at the last month of the research phase. Heck, even some odd public demos of the commercial version still used 2.0 at least a month or two prior to the VXB 3.0 release.
>>
>>35596
I know its a fan concert but did they ever integrate Eleanor into Vocamerica?
>>
>>35775
To my knowledge, no, but i wouldn't be surprised if they did. Vocamerica was already crumbling by the time Eleanor came out anyway.
>>
>>35776
I know I'm not alone when I say this but I wish there was another fan concert focused on the Engloids like Vocamerica... that isn't Vocamerica. You know what i mean?. The idea had potential.
>>
>>35777
Doesn't Voca Live Party do that already?
>>
>>35784
They had an English Piko song where the motion was "sponsored by Vocamerica" but as far as i know they've never featured the English Vocaloids
>>
>>35777
How expensive would it be to make one?
>>
>>36082
If you have a projector, speakers, some sort of fabric and MMD you can easily set one up for cheap I think. Correct me if i'm wrong.
>>
>>36092
I have two of those things huh

You will know once I release peak, get poplar, and then reveal I was a mikudayo the whole time in an epic plot twist.

None of this will happen btw (except the album which I am actually working on) and my music will get 12 views like normal
