How does /leek/ feel about making a collaborative zine? I think it'd be cool to have one
>>
I like the idea but how would that work
>>

Not OP but bow I see it often done is a PDF file that gets released periodically. Only on rare cases are actually internet made zines distributed in print.

I'd love to work on one! I worked on one in the past and it admittedly took me longer than I thought to draw my assigned Vocaloid, but it was worth it. I have no knowledge on how to get it printed, most zines are digital that I've seen.

Digital's the way to go

Printing isnt that complicates it is just nice qualify double wide paper, access to a printer that can print it double sided, and a saddle stitch stapler to bind it, and staples could even use coloured ones to blend in better or be aesthetic. Costs money though of course. Probably can find plenty of tutorials online.

Yeah but OP said a "collaborative" zine. How do we do that?.

This isn't a foreign concept, you solicit submissions, typically with a theme/subject, for a deadline and someone steps up to edit and publish. There could be an email for submissions or people post in a thread.

If people have a theme in mind, I'd sound off. Otherwise a general open call is the safe way to go for a first issue. I'd be open to writing something for one.
>>
I'd love to participate
>>
I'm interested, i just don't know what to write about
>>
Bumping for interest

It would be super fun! I'm not someone who draws but maybe I could do something else to contribute
