i'm uploading this utau now because i don't want to keep people waiting too long to see a usable voicebank. the diffsinger's NOT cancelled at all! i'm still working on it but, as i'm completely new to DS and even the collabs for making the voicebanks themselves are fucking broken, i think it'll be a while before i can get a DS ready for release
and either way, i can use the utau recordings for some extra data. the 'u' and 'r' sounds might be a bit weird but other than that the utau should be fine. also, it's in CV format

I'm bumping this thread because we still need more auditions but at this rate I don't know if we're gonna get any, especially considering activity on this site has slowed down a lot by the end of this month (likely due to a lack of activity in the Vocaloid community itself). I feel like you guys put everything into the TORIKO prank: from commissioning an extremely skilled artist and getting a popular news account to report on it, to setting up a website, only for the voice provider to make an UTAU and completely disappear off the internet forever. I wanna say that it's possible, but if we ever do it again it won't be this year or even the next unless we act quick. TORIKO was planned in very early 2025 (around the time 39chan was beginning to see a higher user count and only a few months before April) so her creation was rushed. It doesn't help that no one on this site besides TORIKO's voice provider knew how to make a DiffSinger voicebank. (The DiffSinger thread on this site is basically dead and there's more anons asking how to make a voicebank than anons discussing the software).

I also wouldn't know if we could even pull it off without someone snitching. 39chan might not be super fast but it's not the small site it was when TORIKO was being made.

Quite a bunch of prominent members in the community are aware of 39chan already, most nostably Majin who's a frequent poster here, but also a recent semi popular producer "Meaty-P" who pretty much became popualr thanks to this site. Honestly, the fact that they see us as an actual discussion forum and not "le 4chan neo-nazi cunny site for chinese singing synths" by itself is already a miracle considering the stigma around imageboards.

The site's doing better than it ever has with the PPD reaching 90-100 sometimes but when it comes to making/finishing 'loids it feels like we're stuck. I don't want to bring the mood down anon but you're alone here. There'a a reason the original voicebank didn't get made despite the audio clips for it being available.
Though the training data was small and about 10 minutes long in total, plus the original vp disappeared

As much as I'd dislike a video essay on 39chan I don't think it'd hurt the site at all. The Canon and Hioka events didn't cause any issues and the latter even benefited us because we gained an influx of users who for the most part have been respectful, 39chan in general is way more active not this week though because holidays and we even have the man himself posting here on occasion.

Sena was made to test if /leek/ could collaborate on something but TORIKO seems like the result of those efforts. It was a very elaborate April Fools prank. A whole website was made just to troll people, and they fell right into it.

Even if she's still somewhat obscure you also gotta keep in mind that when TORIKO was made 39chan was still not nearly as big as it is now. We get 100+ posts per day, at the time we only got like 30.
