The amount of misconceptions and false information I’ve encountered in my 16 years of being a Vocaloid fan is a doozy. you'd also find people giving characters "full" names if their name could possibly be a shortened form of something else, even if that was meant to be their full name

The MMD stuff is extremely overblown lol. Only KoshitsukiP was the one who did the lolicon kaito gimmick in those mmd dramas (And even then, this only happened 2 twice and those two were all fake acting).

Aside from being the usual pitiful butt of the joke, Kaito had a LOT of diverse roles on those mmd videos (from being a lazy but good detective, a robot with a brain & memory of a dead kid, an antagonist, a hero, a reliable old brother, a boyfrined with no interesting or memorable personality in spanish mmd series & so much more).

KAITO in those MMD videos had a lot presence & "depth" than people seem to think or remember.

I could be mis-remembering but from what I’ve been told by some Spanish contacts was that these multilang banks were made for their engine called “Voiceful”. This is the engine VoiceMod runs on and it was running on it since before they acquired and eventually absorbed VoctroLabs.

The voiceful api was used for a lot of different apps. First one that comes to mind is the ditty.it app from years back. The main thing to note was that it was always an API and was mostly B2B.

Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong or misremembered any details. It’s been years since I talked to those contacts after all.
