The concept of a "Miku killer" is bizarre to me because it is predicated on the notion that miku wasn't the point of origin for vocal synth popularity (I know there were vocaloid priors but Miku was the impetus of the character voice series). Thats like saying Pachirisu is going to be the Pikachu killer or that Digimon will kill Pokemon or Tamagotchi despite only being able to exist in an environment that thrived because of the circumstances brought about by pokemon. Flower technically had the most popular song of all time for Vocaloid but even then Miku still and probably always will be iconic and widely used until the heat death of the vocaloid universe. Imagine an alt timeline where Vocaloids looked like og Sweet Ann though

As with a lot of things, that is no longer the case. Trends come and go. World is Mine used to the be most popular, for example, and for a long time it actually was. Putting a song as the most popular song of all time is too much of a stretch imo.
