This is true, I've been to some before and the gender divide was super skewed. It did mean that there were heaps of cute cosplays though, which was nice. I think Vocaloid's audience is pretty balanced so it does surprise me since I've been to other concerts where the artist's fanbase isn't skewed to any gender and that was also reflected pretty well in the concert turnout itself being pretty even.
