I've been using it a bit. I don't know what I'm doing but the voicebank editing features are cool.
>>
No, i'm afraid of giving my computer mega aids, especially after the whole fiasco with Obsidian
>>
>>19169
i use a very early version of svkey for similar reasons
>>
>>19168
I have it downloaded but not installed, I might use it if enough time passes and there are no red flags
>>
>>19168
I'm not giving Mother Russia my data
>>
i personally use it, i probably have computer aids lol but nothing bads happened
>>
>>19168
Nice try Vladimir
>>
Is it confirmed that SV Flat is safe? I know Obsidian and Sharp had some sketchy stuff going on, and that Flat is made by some russians, but apparently its also endorsed by the Sharp staff?
>>

>Obsidian and Sharp had some sketchy stuff going on
>Flat made by some russians
>endorsed by the Sharp staff
This is all true but noone knows whether Flat is safe or not for sure

care to share a link? i can test if it's safe too

>>
>>19191
Run it in a virtual machine.
>>
I'm tempted to download it tbh
I already get my VSTs from rutracker which is Russian so this shouldn't hurt to try
>>
>>19322
Good call, thanks
>>
Is this the same one that comes with KAFU's unreleased voicebank?
>>
>>19341
Yeah, but KAFU SV was inside POPY
>>
>>19321
How do you even open these I'm not joining a dicksword server
>>
>>19341
if you want kafu sv you need to install an extra file after installing sv flat, wont link it since i already got warned
sorry mods, thought it was okay since we had a pocaloid thread with links up already <(_ _)>
>>19353
the links in the rentry are base64, the dicksword link is just for updates in case my link ever becomes outdated or if you wanted to look at the tutorials and custom voicebanks people have made

analysis done
this shit is safer than sharp lmao

it does not have any persistent or suspicious processes; it's clean.
this is the only thing it detected, and it's for replacing old program files (or copying new files)

ran the installer and there's no ads nor anything on its terms related to get user data. program works well too
>>
I still don't get what this SV Flat is exactly?

>>19361
Did you do a network analysis not just a malware scan?
>>
>>19380
It's a crack for synthv made by a russian team

Should i trust a random anon on a Vocaloid imageboard?

no

Down

Down

Do i even need these files?
>>
>>19389
You should trust your instincts anon
>>
>>19361
So it's legit? No reports of malicious activity?
>>
>>19209
Honestly i trust the Russians more with piracy and cracks than some American dicksword kids
Especially when Team R2R, one of the best VST cracking teams, is also legit and Russian
>>
>>19517
It just is relatively poor countries have more people with motivation to spread malware for profit which can be ransomware or a botnet or identity theft etc
>>
>>19524
The US isn't poor, what
>>
>>19524
I'd actually say it's the other way around. The piracy scene is huge in countries like Brazil and Mexico to the point where you can buy pirated PC/PS2 games at flea markets for cheap. They're also the least likely to put viruses in their cracks because their goal is to make paid software accessible to people in their country that can't afford it.
>>
I'll download it bros wish me luck
>>
so creating voicebanks is possible with this version of SV from what i've heard

No identifiable canceraids on my PC. This one might actually be safe guys.
>>
why does it come preinstalled with every voicebank ever (except una)
>>
>>19532
I meant Russia is.

>>19534
Both can be true so overall difficult to assess risks by origin but generally you likely wouldn't see much put into something as niche as this.
>>
>>19588
I don't think this is any different from those cracked, obscure VSTs on rutracker. They love cracking audio related stuff and SV just happens to be an audio software.
>>
>>19575
Apparently people have been trying to port UTAUs and Vocaloids over to Synth V with Flat. There is a Miku SV demo out there (illegal, obviously), but I heard it and it sounds more like Una than it does Miku.
>>
>>19361
It still uses source code from those people but whatever yolo
>>
Are any SV2s compatible with it?
>>
>>19590
This makes me wonder if UTAUs that already have SV versions how they would sound ported in if it is very different or not.
>>
>>19618
Teto sounds completely different plus the UTAU was recorded when her VP was 15, she's in her 30s now.
>>
>>19575
You can't really create voicebanks but you can merge voicebanks together to try and make them sound closer to a target goal.
>>
>>19624
I think you're referring to the XSY stuff. You can make voicebanks in Flat, people on their dicksword have been sharing stuff.
>>
>>19618
Probably not much different than an RVC
>>
>>19168
Not a russian spy but i can confirm its safe
>>
>>19961
Don't know if safe but it doesn't do any VISIBLE damage to your pc

SynthV's Vox -> MIDI feature is very powerful

You made it listenable congrats
>>
I don't know if it's safe or not but the russians are known for cracking VSTs and music software so i trust them more than i'd trust a bunch of dicksword kids
>>
>>22359
This
>>
After all this time i can confirm that its safe
>>
synthv flat nerd here, you CAN make custom voicebanks, but the tools to make them are not available yet (atleast publicly.)
most 'custom' voicebanks out there are just mixes of other voices.
>>
>>34079
Psst, DiffSinger exists
>>
>>34079
i've made several ones by mixing voicebanks, very fun to be honest
>>
If any other nerds are here, here's some technical details and explanations:
> Is it safe to use?
Yes, well, as long as you download it from a trusted source, there is no reason to worry.
> Windows defender/Antivirus is tagging it as dangerous, what do I do?
This depends on either you want to continue using it or not, as the latter said, if you got it from a trusted source there is no reason to worry.
> Was this made by the same team that made Obsidian?
No, atleast from what I remember not. It was stated that the software was made by russian developers.
> Can you give me a link?
No!!!!!
> Why do I need LanguageExtras, HistoryDB, etc...?
These are what makes your voicebanks work! If your voicebank has no sound, it may be due to: 1, you installed an SVPK while an SFPK of the same name was already installed, or 2, you don't have the acoustic models.
> What are SFPKs and Acoustic models?
SFPKS are the SynthV Flat equivalent of SVPKs, they contain voicedata and are much more lightweight than SVPKs.
Acoustic models are the "Base" of your voicebank, if you don't have it, no voice.
> What's the use case for SynthV Flat manager?
It allows you to edit a voice in anyway you want. You can mix the HEX of the vocals together and even make 'new' ones.
> Does SynthV Flat work like normal SynthV?
Yes! You can pitchtune, retake, wav->midi all the same. The only differences might be that in newer versions, you have an extra tab to refresh.
> Can you actually make 'new' voicebanks, as in there is no pre-existing mixed voice?
Yes, you can. But you won't have access to the resources to make them, unless it goes public or you make your own.

I think these are all the questions I've seen here. (If there are any misspelings, pardon me. I don't bother to check.)
>>
>>34267
Did russian developer hands type this post? I forgive you though. Flat is a better virus than Obsidian and comes with almost every voicebank preinstalled which is also a plus.
>>
>>34278
No XD Just a dork who likes voice synthesis way too much
