One of the main goals of robotics in Japan is nursing robots particularly to take care of the elderly population from their declining birth rate so it makes sense. Music is therapeutic too for example a familiar song can help elderly people with dementia or it can help someone with PTSD or depression cope with stress. Bad memories seeing this robot. Ive seen then in the hospital before personally. Not really nurse bot though they are used mainly as assistants transporting samples to labs. You also can talk to them to ask for directions.
