I agree. Yuki used be the go-to voicebank for creepy songs in the early 2010's due to how she's voiced by a kid (and kids are fucking scary man). You had people using her in songs about real life tragedies and murder and then you had those who used her for uh… things much worse than Zaako. So up until Inabakumori I think most people knew Yuki from those creepy songs.

It’s far more than just ACE doing this. Even Crypton’s CEO praised generative AI at one point.
Dreamtonics marketing feels super AIbro/normie focused to me, and I feel Vocalochanger only exists due to investors pressuring Yamaha, no one in the fandom asked for a RVC clone (especially one much lower quality than RVC itself.)

Not exactly same. It has a few differences from crazyhorse chess like the starting positions are different, pieces have similar but different move rules from chess ones, pieces can only be upgraded to a specific piece and it happens before you reach the furthest edge of the board instead. They also do not have special moves like castling as far as I am aware. It is a lot easier to understand if you play against a computer with pieces that have directional markers on them beside the kanji which is a settings option on this site. You can figure it out pretty quickly.

Its like chess on crack, a lot of situational stuff that doesnt happen often in chess is like usual mechanics. For example just being able to use the captured enemy pieces as your own and placing them in nearly every tile alone changes how you play compared to chess as you can't just sacrifice a piece for some strat and don't think about it again as the pieces you sacrifice can literally be used against you.
