You should check out http://world2ch.net, I've been browsing it for several weeks. It reopened a month ago and has been pretty active. its a 2ch type board if you couldnt tell
>>87 That's cool and all but can they make an UTAU like 2channel?
>>89 You're not missing out on much. Only Wapchan and Hikari are worth visiting these days imo Themed chans like TF2chan were awesome back in the day but today they're mostly a thing from the past. 39chan technically is one of those and i have no idea how it's so active being a themed chan but i'm happy that it is.
>>90 >i have no idea how it's so active being a themed chan If i had to guess it's because there's more interest in Vocaloid than years ago. There's another themed chan i can think of that also has a ton of traffic and gets at least one post per second and that's Holotower for Hololive discussions.
I do hope that themed chans make a comeback though, the demand is there and a lot of communities would benefit from one.
>>100 Fun fact, Paheal has a hidden Kareha board originally intended to be used for when the site (Rule34) went down but it's so old and outdated that these days it's nothing but a spam dumping ground that for some reason they have never bothered to remove http://blog.paheal.net/dis/ >daft cunt Big fan of that band
It's not in Japanese language, but there's an imageboard owned by a Japanese person called Ikouchan. The topic is cultural exchange and there's a bot that replies to posts. It's pretty comfy. https://ikouchan.tokyo/ Also no, I'm not the owner.
which browser software is good for autotranslating afformentioned websites inplace? To make them browseable. any good extensions, to make them navigatable, readable?
I've tried one top-rated browser "extension" , for website translation - it basically sent site to translate.google.com proxy frame , breaking all html css , disabling post forms, not being helpful.
Also since this thread is about Japanese sites, the people behind those translations also created this directory of Japanese BBS sites which some here might find interesting https://bbsdirectory.neocities.org/
I think it's interesting that all these Japanese Futaba-based Imageboards have been suffering from spam attacks recently. I keep seeing spam bots linking to "undress people with AI" scam sites. Have they always had spam attacks like that? I know that on the English side we have to deal with worse and actually illegal types of spam.
Funny that the majority of western Nijiura Maids fans only know them from Breakcore album covers and TikTok and have never stepped foot on Nijiura itself, lol.
>>87 like https://ayashiihispa.neocities.org is the same shit but in spanish i see they have a international board and a japanese board /loungue1vip/ /mahjong/
>>152 yeah. it's a bit region locked to jp ip that are non vpn or proxy. I think it'll blacklist jp vpn & proxies.
>>140 wow! some one made something actually useful & helpful on neocities! :o good job with directory
