Japanese Indie Horror Games Mikudayo Wed, Sep 16, 2026, 06:25 PM No.753
Visual Novels, RPG Maker, Ryona/Guro games, etc. Been a while since I've heard someone talk about indie horror games from Japan. Let's have a thread for them. I've been meaning to replay Witch's House.

Bewmping just to say that I've been replaying good ol Yume Nikki for the first time in years. I had forgotten about the Steam port, what a weird period to be a YN fan.

I am impatient enough I had to play using the glitch that increases your walking speed.

It is a pretty slow game without the glitch

I dont know if this fits but does anyone have any VN recommendations for switch? I'm pretty casual when it comes VNs so anything outside really mainstream stuff will do, I think the last one I played was school days. Found a few that looks interesting but with how thrash eshop can be when it comes categorizing games, I really don't want to blindly invest time or money into some bs.

Something around 7-8 hours (or shorter) would be preferable but as long as dayos think the game is good I wouldn't mind something longer.
