Since 39chan's 2nd anniversary is coming up soon i just wanted to say that i can't believe i've been with you fucks for two whole years. I've been here since the homepage was red, and then blue and then black. I've seen the site die, come back up, change owners like 3 different times, and despite everything i'm still here. I love you 39chan and I love (You) dayos.

It's just on the other boards. On /g/ it's allowed, but this is a Vocaloid site first so most people here don't come to talk about Project Sekai. Maybe that's for the better.

I actually sadly(?) never registered on VO, whenever I wanted to talk about vocaloid I had online friends in chatrooms to discuss it with already, so I guess I never felt the need to seek out a vocaloid focused forum back in the day.
HOWEVER, I do know a former VO mod! And somehow I met them through content unrelated to vocaloid. Crazy how small of a world we're in

Nice. I actually started using this site because people kept comparing it to VO in its early days and well, social media ain't for me. I've used imageboards before but i never stuck around on 4chan outside of a few boards like /jp/ and /vr/. But honestly i prefer 39chan over both VO and /jp/. Its a lot more chill and there's more variety in topics.

Ironically I also never used VO despite being in the fandom around the time when it still existed. But I did lurk it. It's a little disappointing that it no longer exists with how much valuable info and old fandom culture was in there.

I've been here since launch but tbh, you weren't missing out on much if you joined post T39. We had more boards but less activity, there wasn't much overlap with /jp/, Leekaloids were just becoming a thing, the site would go down a lot more often, and the captcha was non existent so we would get more SLUGs. Overall, I prefer 39chan under T39.

I've been here since the 4chan hack but I've never visited the /jp/ threads or really any Vocaloid discussion space at all. 39chan is a great place, hope it stays as long as possible
