Anybody got paranormal anecdotes to tell? Perhaps share some interesting horror media you enjoy such as films or games? Try to keep it sfw and don't post shit that breaks the rules.

when my granddad passed away, my mum swears she saw his ghost standing at the edge of her bed, watching over her.

had a similar experience.

when I was 5, my paternal grandma passed away. since I was too young I can't remember much from her more than she loved me a lot.

several years passed; the room that used to be my grandmother's was now my room, a few years after she passed away.

in 2020, in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, every time i went to sleep i would hear a humming of something that sounded like a lullaby, sung by a female voice. it terrified me, but calmed me at the same time, the voice was vaguely familiar....

until one day, i had an upset stomach and couldn't sleep. suddenly, i heard an old lady's voice say to me "are you okay, sweetheart?"
the voice, besides the humming, became even more familiar to me. turns out it was my grandma.... but the voice was so close it gave me chills. but, even so, I started to feel more calm.

i don't know if this practice is done in other countries, but in my country it is a tradition to light a white candle on the anniversary of the death of a loved one. the following year, in 2021, i stopped hearing my grandmother's voice the day they lit the candle on the anniversary of her death. all this time, granny was taking care of me....

There will be many people who do not believe in the paranormal and ghosts, but from this experience, I can recognize that they are more real than ever.

because, if not, what sense would it make that this would have happened to me?

I'm one of those people who doesn't believe in ghosts. I used to when I was a child, but then I fell into the whole rabbit hole of fake videos, mental illness and carbon monoxide poisoning. And I wish I hadn't because I want to believe in ghosts, but it's hard to do so when nothing has ever happened to me.

I have experienced glitches in the matrix though if that's anything.
