Haven't cosplayed in ages but yeah I do go to cons every now and then. Sadly the quality of cons here has been in decline over the years with the more overpriced bootleg merch showing up and shonen/flavor of the month stuff slowly gaining prominence over everything else. Sadly I'm not American so if you guys do meetups I'm not available.

there's only one con in my city every year, i missed this year's but i do want to go to next year's.
never cosplayed before but i want to go as len sometime. any experienced anons know how expensive it is?

If you buy or commission costumes online they're probably gonna cost a bit more than if you made them yourself but if you're just starting out it is a decent option. Avoid Temu, their costumes are generally low quality.

I’m waiting for a big one on the US East Coast, so maybe next year in DC or NYC. Although maybe a small one would be worth a trip too.

Part of me wishes 39chan would have a con panel the way 4chan did in the mid 2000's but i get the feeling website panels are out of fashion at this point
