After many painful hours in Blender, learning how to make hair, learning how to export MMD models, asking friends for help with the textures, attempting to weight paint after 3 years without rigging, reading guides, asking AI for help translating Japanese words, and fucking around in PMX editor, my masterpiece is complete.

I bring you the Vocaloid meme to end all Vocaloid memes. The fanloid, the myth, the legend - Yukarietto / Concerned Yukari. And yes, this is my first MMD model EVER. She is a buggy little creature, so I don't recommend using poses/motions meant for other models. Now go and spread this little demon everywhere you can.

Feel free to make edits, or port it to other games/engines. I don't ask for credit but if you really gotta credit me, credit me as Snail.

While i'm still not sure what causes the infamous bug on MMO i think i might've found a lead.
The problematic parts are clearly the neck (single neck bone) and torso (spine01,spine02,spine03,pelvis).

If i had to guess, the bone's name doesn't match what the game expects, because the bug has nothing to do with the motions (made some custom ones to test this out). My other guess is that the weighting is too weak.

i used an effect called simplepaint but if you want a more permanant solution open her up in PMXEditor and change her reflection value (near upper right in screenshot) to 0 or something. that should fix it

Alright I'm done. Here's my material settings, I set a massive number as the reflection. I painted the shading on the back of the hair, and drew the eyelids, eyebrows, and the outline of the mouth on top of the render (not the texture).

These eyebrows act as duplicate eyebrows. Basically any shape key that applies to the bottom eyebrows applies to these as well. I could change that if you guys want but it'll make the model look shittier.

I actually forgot to suggest it and just drew them on. Ideally you would want the eyebrows and eyelids on the head behind the hair, but allow them to be visible through it. I believe you can do that in other software, but I have no idea if that's possible in MMD. It will look weird from other angles if the eyebrows and eyelids are in front of the hair, but it could be pretty funny. You should try it and see.

I couldn't even make the model as is, most I've made is some boxy stuff in Blender. Try putting the eyebrows in front of the hair, the eyelids should fit with the eyelashes on the head. Like the eyebrows and eyelids, the outline of the mouth could be a thin model that deforms along with it, if that's doable. As for texturing, shading the hair under her head would go a long way towards faithfully recreating the drawing.

Alright i have good and bad news.

The good:
<Model has eyebrows now
<Model works in MikuMikuOnline now (how? idk. likely the issue i mentioned earlier about bone names)
<PMD support added
<New armature
<Model still has IKs but I've merged the toe/ankle bones so you'll no longer have Yukari with extremely long toes

The bad:
<PMXEditor refused to export the model without shiny textures
<The outlines look too thick from a certain distance (especially the smaller set of eyebrows)
<Compatibility with motions meant for big characters still sucks
<No mouth outline because i couldn't figure it out
