Is MMD dead/dying or am I just too negative?
A lot of the old MMD creators have either retired or moved onto more advanced software like Blender, Maya or even Koikatsu, series like the classic "Welcome to Vocaloid" are basically a relic of the past at this point and no one makes them anymore, MMD artists no longer share OC online except for Deviantart veterans. Even the "Genshin Impact dance videos" people claim to have dethroned Vocaloid MMD PVs seem to be on decline recently. Is the MikuMikuDance community dying?.

Custom render pipelines
I've been doing some experimentation with MMDBridge. While it doesn't officially support LightWave, I was able to import a Blender-friendly Alembic export. The only quirks I had to deal with were the camera being kinda screwed (fixed by importing the VMD into Blender and exporting a camera-only Alembic through it) and having to reassign all materials manually.What do you guys use?

I have finished the first full release of the client which includes a new title screen, loading bars, English UI, and a redesigned chat UI.

Sometimes i acome across MMD channels from the mid 2000's - early 2010's and get sad once i realize they're inactive. Does anybody else feel this?. Also thread for classic MMD videos, share some MMD classics.

PMD editor is p good for like. adding physics and stuff to ripped 3D models. and changing colors on already existing models!
