Some producers don't remain Vocaloid producers forever, Hachi is an example. What are some retired VocaPs that you miss?.

I miss Wataame. He was one of the first few producers who introduced me to my wife with Four Seasons Song (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g--Qmi048Vw). He left with a goodbye song at least.

Crusher isn't 100% retired. They just have been making and prioritizing original, non-Vocaloid music now. I feel like they could come back with a "song of the year" if they wanted to.

 No.16351

>>16348
So he became like Hachi and ryo then?

 No.16352

>>16351
Hachi and Ryo are no longer involved with the scene but she still makes Vocaloid stuff once in a while

 No.16366

The EN side is a bit stagnant right now imo. A lot of the popular songs sound the same. We would benefit from having him back.

I know he's co-producing for Nunununu now but god dammit I miss him

 No.16973

The impact Tohma has had on Vocaloid despite being active for only three years is crazy. Envy Catwalk, Skeleton Orchestra and Lilia, Hanged Girl in the Haunted House, etc... Apparently he's under a new alias now "Gyoson" but it's not Vocaloid. Wish him the best

 No.17106

Does Mochiutsune count as retired? I miss him

 No.17107

You could say the same about Koronba. The impact he had on UTAU with just a few songs was insane and it even spawned a subgenre of Koronba inspired producers.

If we're adding onto this then wowaka also only made Vocaloid songs for three years

 No.17112

Huh, as a kid it felt longer than that

I don't think he's actually coming back, anon

Is LamazeP still around?

His last upload was about two years ago, not counting the mcdonalds thing

 No.18404

He got taken by the VRchat menace and IIRC he stated that's why he hasn't been making music lately.

well that sucks

I don't know if Picdo is coming back but it looks like they recently relisted all their videos so hopefully that's a good sign.

Great, now give me back Crusher and i can die happy

 No.19161

>>19139
Yeah he is back but i feel like its temporary and he'll go on yet another long hiatus again

 No.19162

>>19146
Crusher still makes music though, she just kinda drops every 3 years so it makes her look inactive but she's still around

 No.19180

Don't give me hope

 No.19190

To be fair he never "really" left, about a year ago he collabed with FF on this song

To me it seems he just does one song per year these days

 No.19195

wish he did solo stuff again tbh

Does anybody know what happened to Toraboruta/Travolta/Volta, the producer that made Toeto?

 No.19674

>>19667
Probably just lost interest in the mid-2010s, like a lot of old producers
He was doing nothing but commissions for a long time before he disappeared

Give me Ult back

 No.22889

Just a general statement but I bet some producers just delete their accounts and make a new one with a different name sometimes.

 No.22890

This is true, kemu and inabakumori did it off the top of my head

Was minato ever retired?

 No.26688

I wonder where Toraboruta is these days :(

 No.26692

>>23851
Not really but he goes on hiatus a lot

 No.26694

I never understood where people got that 23.exe quit to pursue other music opportunities. I feel like if that was the case we would've known about it like we know that HACHI became Kenshi Yonezu and Momocashew became Mili.

 No.26695

>>26694
It's not impossible but I wasn't able to find anything other than total speculation

 No.26859

>>19667
Also curious about this but it seems not even the Japanese know

 No.27293

Not a producer but i wonder what riotoqll is up to these days

 No.27301

>>27293
She's still active on Twitter but hasn't posted original art in a long time

 No.27597

Dammit man, I'm still sad about Neru (the producer not the fanloid). I'm glad he's alive and well but with his condition I doubt we will ever get new music from him ever again.
