Watashi no Koko general, since the project is still active and YOSU still releases music. I think it's a neat little project so i want to share it with you.
>What is Watashi no KokoWatashi no Koko (formerly Kesson Shoujo) is a fictional experimental / noise / j-pop band from Japan created and managed by Kazuhumi Yosu with artwork generally illustrated by Kurage Nanami or Yosu himself. The vocals are produced using an outdated Japanese vocal synthesizer called LaLaVoice, which is personified as the character and core member of the band Lala.

Incoming loredump
Watashi no Koko is comprised of 4 members, with Lala possibly being the most important.
>Lala
She is a personification of the software LaLaVoice released circa 2000-2001. Not all songs are written from her point of view, but when they are they usually deal with topics such as nostalgia, obsoletion, being forgotten, destructive thoughts. Lala failed miserably at what other vocalsynths like Miku succeeded, hence why most songs deal with these topics.
>Kenban Musume (Keyboard Girl)
Her name says it all, she is the keyboardist of the band. There sadly isn't much to her as there is to Lala but hey, she's a cute loli with twintails what else can you ask for?.
>Jishou Imouto (Self-proclaimed sister)
Doesn't do anything. No one even knows whose sister she is. She's cute.
>YOSU
Essentially a cartoony representation of Kazuhumi Yosu, the mastermind behind Watashi no Koko. Depicted as a red faceless rabbit. (From last.fm: He likes to go to public baths, old towns, factories, ruins and etc…… He thought the former name of the band (kesson shoujo) was too cool for them, so he changed that.)

It feels like a lot of people discovered Watashi no Koko from Vocaloid but in my case it's Watashi No Koko that got me into Vocaloid. I already knew about Vocaloid before but it's WKK that made me interested in it.

No.21089
>>21088Fun fact: I almost collaborated with him but he's going through some heavy art block right now and doesn't have much motivation (i guess it explains the lack of recent music as well)

>>21925I did end up writing the track, but since I originally intended YOSU to write the lyrics and render Lala's vocals I'm going to have to do it all myself and with another Vocaloid. But don't worry it's gonna come out eventually.
