I need this pic as a site banner now but I'm a shitty editor

 No.568

there's already a banner with this guy

yay :)

 No.944

I remember hearing somewhere that this dude has very incel-ish views regarding women and that the JP Vocaloid community sees him as an embarrassment to Miku fans. Not sure how true that is but definitely interesting considering how the west sees him as this wholesome reddit chungus lonely guy who made his dream of marrying Miku come true.

 No.947

>>944
He was trying pretty hard to look wholesome until recently. The lingerie thing ruined him so bad in Japan that everyone on Twitter (even normies) started joking about the mikufucker guy and Crypton (allegedly) had to step in

 No.25046

A recent article about him came up on my feed today. Apparently he brought his Miku doll to a public park and it was freaking the kids out. Suddenly I understand why he's so hated in his home country, lol.

 No.25047

>>25046
What a bunch of wimpy kids. The doll does not look THAT creepy.

 No.25048

Isn't he pro-AIkuso or something?

is it like a he talks to miku chatgpt thing you're trying to say?

 No.25051

Honestly, it's an understandable reaction to seeing a grown man carrying what looks like a sex doll. I personally would be weirded out too but would just leave the guy alone.

 No.25052

Didn't Crypton sue the guy because he said something that was hurting Miku's rep?

 No.25053

>>25052
They didn't sue, but they vagueposted about it. It was when he tried to get an in-person lingerie fitting for Miku and kept doubling down on it, even though most people were saying it was weird to do that in a regular clothing store.

 No.25054

>>25053
kek, so this is the closest thing we have to a vocaloid chris chan?

 No.25055

I heard rumors he married Miku to challenge norms and not so much because he loved Miku. Basically, a political marriage, which is disappointing but I hope that's not true. Maybe someone in the know can help explain?

 No.25056

>>25054
Yeah, pretty much. The Japanese see him as nothing more than a lolcow, but the Western media doesn't exactly show that side of him so over here most people have a somewhat positive image of him. The average normie will of course find him weird but western otaku who aren't aware of his antics see him as this wholesome guy who married his favorite character.

>>25055
Would not surprise me.

But he posted about it on his Twitter a couple of days ago? https://x.com/akihikokondosk/status/2051259224764858559. But anyways I'm with the Japanese netizens on this, it's not comparable to nuikatsu when his Miku is a sex doll and he doesn't look the type to clean it properly so... best he not take it to public parks lol

 No.25197

The Western side only knows him as "The guy who married his Hatsune Miku hologram" and nothing more. The Japanese have hated him for a while now, the guy's kind of an embarrassment to real Miku fans.

 No.25208

>>25190
That's not an article and he literally posts all the time. Like he even says the only reaction he ever gets is on X. The last time this was even worth discoursing/getting upset about was when CFM tutted him in 2024.

 No.25210

May or may not be. Some manufacturers make dolls that come in two versions one with a hole and one without. Regardless they wind up used for displays at events and stuff.

Look at this guy and tell me he wouldn't be the type of dude to own a sex doll

 No.25238

>>25220
I think most people who own dolls like that do it for more than sexual gratification but a kind of comfort from loneliness. Though I would not say an ideal one since there is no actual social interaction going on but better than using people. You see a similar phenomenon with women who have realistic baby dolls often after losing a child.

this guy to me is a genuine freak and the fact he apparently caused generational reputation damage to miku fans in japan is insane. Ive seen some say crypton should do something about this weirdo and honestly it would probably be for the best if they could.

>>25192
He dresses this thing up and drags it around in public, he even took it to disneyland iirc and got kicked out. It most definitely is a sex doll and even tried buying lingerie for it.

I don't think Kondo and this guy are comparable. Kondo is creepy and insane but we have no proof that he fucks his dolls. This guy on the other hand...

 No.25435

Kondo might be bad but this guy is downright depraved

 No.25440

>>25424
I don't see a real problem. I would not do anything public like him but I can appreciate when someone just stops caring and enjoys themselves. I do feel sorry for him that it is more a coping mechanism though. I haven't heard of him doing anything obscene in public, he merely is just doing something out of what is considered ordinary.

>>25433
Nothing wrong with that if he does...I mean as long as he washes it properly and is not allergic to the materials.

 No.25454

>>25440
The problem is the guy knows it generates outrage and probably does shit intentionally at this point. He knowingly crosses lines and then gets mad when things don't go his way (i.e getting kicked out of places or facing rightful criticism for his deranged actions). I wouldn't mind if this guy was sincerely mentally ill and has strange (private) coping mechanisms. But no instead he parades around a lifesized miku sexdoll in public and acts like its something that should be normalized. This isn't even mentioning the reputation damage he unironically caused

>>25432
not on the same level of depravity (fortunately) but theyre on the same spectrum of insanity.

Because one person will cause irreparable reputation damage towards a fanbase of hundreds of thousands. Right.
It seems like a very abnormal coping mechanism at this point, I can't see it in any other way. I've seen much worse.

 No.25471

>>25460
I have not heard too much about him but couldn't it just he feels justified? I don't think he is doing it to troll, he may actually see himself as being like a figure of human rights which is why he may get so defiant. It also serves as a way to get attention from people as a supplement to his loneliness. I am not licensed but I have played the role of a psychotherapist for a long time now and spoken to all kinds of people and am doing not well myself so that is why this sort of thing does not bother me to the degree it does some others. I could see how he might be annoying but not like he's some huge menacing figure.

 No.25479

>>25467
>Because one person will cause irreparable reputation damage towards a fanbase of hundreds of thousands. Right.
this guy's mental illness was a sensational news story in Japan and his antics repeatedly get him talked about...

 No.25484

>>25479
Right, because the Japanese press is famously measured and doesn't blow things out of proportion until they invent their own scandals.
>repeatedly get him talked about
Bottomfeeding off of X drama is self-sustaining. Even worse when it's based on a bunch of secondhand retellings or wishcasting how Japanese fans "feel" about the guy as if they're any greater authority. As far as I can tell the only thing that whipped people into a frenzy this time is that he mentioned he took the doll to his park on his own profile. Moralizing that exercise or whether CFM should swing a hammer down on him when they already signaled they want to stay out of it is needless when everyone would be more honest to admit they just want a lolcow to milk.

 No.25486

>>25484
I never understood this obsession with so called lolcows. It is one thing to find something amusing that is a personal experience bit it is a whole other thing to try to drag people through the mud and shit in the most public way possible. It is just a form of harassment. Then you have people acting like they know so much because what they heard from random strangers and act as if they personally know someone when they never spoke to them even.

>I haven't heard of him doing anything obscene in public.
Tried to buy his Miku doll lingerie in public instead of online lmao, this is likely why people think it's a sex doll. Why buy lingerie for a doll you don't intend to do sexual things with?

Also I think the park he took his Miku to wasn't just a normal park but a playground for children. It's pretty obvious normies aren't gonna be fond of a guy dragging around what's likely a sex doll wearing a kid's uniform in front of real kids. Should've took her to Comiket or something instead, that crowd would be understanding.

I slightly agree we shouldn't singlehandedly blame this guy for Vocaloid fans' negative reputation, considering Vocaloid fans had this reputation prior and likely always will, but at the same time Crypton co-signing this guy would probably bring toxic people into our fandom, Japanese fans who dislike him are probably trying to prevent this. I hate people who claim they "hate politics" and "support freedom of expression" while shoving their personal politics into things and censoring people who disagree with them, and this guy definitely seems the type. He's basically using Miku and Vocaloid culture to ragebait people which sucks.

I once saw this guy tweet about a "gender equality punch" but couldn't tell if he was for or against it, I guess I got my answer lol

tl;dr Zoning is important and Kondo is Japan's ChibiReviews

>Tried to buy his Miku doll lingerie in public instead of online
I find that funny even though yeah he probably should have used online but how could he figure sizes out? I do not really consider that obscene unless he was walking around with her in only it after.
>Why buy lingerie for a doll you don't intend to do sexual things with?
Well that Miku needs something to wear at night lol Not like it would be difficult to find out where the doll came from to confirm. I have reason to doubt it is a sex doll just because I have never seen one with stiff hair like that. It would get in the way.
>Also I think the park he took his Miku to wasn't just a normal park but a playground for children. I think there are a lot of parks in Japan that are often pretty much empty so I would not be so sure of that. I have seen worse on fc2 like some guy jerking off in the park, though it was just him there.
