Depends on whether Yamaha is allowed to call their character a faggot

 No.15732

>>15726
Voicevox is relevant if you're Japanese. One time I saw some unc using Ritsu to make ads for his retro video game store

This jumpscared me because I forgot about the VoxFactory teaser doing that ihgrujvfdik

The Vox Factory trailer for some reason:

 No.15778

>>15732
VoiceVox is not a SVS though, is it?

 No.15798

>>15730
They could always just avoid saying it lol

 No.15802

>>15778
It has a singing engine that was pretty much designed around Ritsu. It's not very popular though, especially compared to the TTS

 No.15806

>>15802
The engine sounds really nice and the voice quality is great, but the auto-pitch is a bit off

Yknow, when you look at it, every new Vipperloid bank is either on a free engine or on a commercial engine from another country. Except Teto SV, which was approved by Crypton.
Is it possible that all of the Vipperloids would need permission from Crypton to exist on a major Japanese engine? Japanese law is pretty strict about parodies and such.

 No.15814

>>15813
Wouldn't it depend on whether the character is based on a Crypton design or not?

 No.15816

File: 1769184501726.png(19.99 KB, 259x224, sticker.png)

>>15814
Well, they all have Crypton parody traits to some extent. Although Ritsu probably has the fewest.

 No.15820

>>15816
A lot of them have original designs that are only slightly based off the Cryptonloids and I don't think they'd cause much trouble if they were rereleased on a commercial synth.

Besides Ritsu is on literally everything except V6/Voisona/SV.

 No.16559

>>15730
I mean they can probably omit that part. Ritsu is already on other major engines and there's been no controversy.

 No.16561

>>16559
I don't think the other releases have a character bio in the first place

I like the excitement over the Canon Q&A earlier in this thread. I hope we eventually get more from different guests.

I need the next FAN-ding to be Ritsu

 No.24080

>>24078
I need it to be Ruko, Tei or Rook. We already have too many Ritsu voicebanks.

Ritsu world domination
Put him in every engine ever

 No.24096

>>24082
If they ever put him in another engine its gonna be something no one has ever heard of, not Vocaloid, but I'd like to be wrong

 No.24097

>>24078
Given Miko's connections to Ritsu you would think Ritsu WOULD be next

 No.24099

>>24097
I do hope they at least consider it after Miko.

I can't wait for Ritsu to become mainstream, so i can finally enjoy him without the dicksword server thinking i am weird and have a lot of new nauseating pop songs i can finally listen. And most importantly meet a lot of new people who have never heard of Ritsu before, just like me!

Your fortune: Very Bad Luck

 No.24208

>>24207
You're in luck. Ritsu won't get the Teto curse because barely anyone cares about V6.

 No.24213

>>24207
I don't think Ritsu would become mainstream even if he got a Synth V. He's had AI voicebanks before Teto on multiple engines which never really took off. There are also people still offended by his bio.

 No.25662

>>24207
That's never ever gonna happen. Teto already had an established fanbase prior to SV and was pretty much a mascot to UTAU the way Miku is to Vocaloid. Ritsu on the other hand was never as big. He could get a SynthV in a distant future but they'd forget about him weeks after his release the same way its going to happen to Miko now with her new V6.

 No.25663

>>25662
There's also the fact that Ritsu is in pretty much every non mainstream commercial engine. Like that other anon said, if those never took off then its unlikely that a SV/V6 would.
At best you'd get a bunch of covers and originals from small producers like it happened fo GekiKaze.

Ritsu...

 No.27594

Realistically, is there any possibility of Ritsu ever coming to a mainstream commercial engine like Vocaloid or SynthV? Perhaps even VoiSona if you consider that mainstream?. Because let's face it, almost no one is using 90% of the engines he's on. I don't want another Teto effect to happen, but I want my boy to get out of obscure synth hell.

memento mori or something

 No.27603

>>27594
After Miko I'd say yes, but I think that would depend on Canon, wouldn't it? She's the one who has the ability to make a V6 crowdfund.

 No.27607

>>27594
Didn't she answer this during the Q&A? uh...

>>6155

Is this how you quote stuff in other threads in the same board? lmao

 No.27608

>>27607
It's a bit vague (presumably due to DeepL's translation). I assume she meant that it won't be possible without the help from Ritsu fans.

 No.27799

UtsuP might save the Ritsu fandom

 No.27802

I don't see it happening but I hope I'm wrong

 No.27808

Ritsu stuff aside it'd be nice if VOX FACTORY became as big as Voisona since i doubt it'll ever reach SynthV levels of big

 No.27809

>>27808
don't people hate vox factory because of the AI features?

 No.27810

>>27809
You're thinking ACE Studio. VOX Factory is relatively unknown outside maybe Korea.

 No.27813

>>27607
What did she mean by this

 No.27814

>>27810
Ritsu is the only VF voicebank by a non-Korean developer, in fact

 No.27815

>>27814
I looked into their voicebanks. I like Rena.
