it's really easy in openutau now, you just select a phonemizer (en x-sampa for her i believe) and it does it all for you, you just type in words

 No.24834

>>24831
I like her UTAU and SynthV and Voicepeak. Though I feel like her SynthV is not as strong on more shouty and growly vocals as it should be since I liked that about Teto originally. Id probably at least try to use everything if I start producing.

Utau is easier to use than a lot of people think

Normies are attracted to trends like flies to shit and Teto just happens to be the 'cool new thing'

 No.25234

Sekai fans are arguably a lot worse than "Teto fans"

 No.26040

Being an old school Teto fan these days must suck because I noticed even the normies are getting sick of those types of Teto fans.

 No.26050

Honestly as someone who used to enjoy GHOST'S music I've found their fans have literally always been the worst, at least Teto fans are mostly cringe kids and not encouraging each other to stalk one another for years on end, though all 3 groups have an overlap and PJSK newgens are comparable

 No.26055

This is true but this was a decade ago.

>>24841
It varies person to person. I can use it much better now, especially with open Utau available, but it took much longer for me to learn than Vocaloid and SynthV.

It's a little annoying, but I'm sure it will pass whenever the next big fandom trend happens

Tetobros what are your thoughts on Jam2go? I mostly ignored his stuff at first because SV Teto but I listened to some of his recent songs and they're really good. His Teto tuning doesn't feel generic to me like most SV Teto songs.

 No.26090

>>24827
They technically do. I like Jamie Paige but its clear that she attracts a lot of the annoying people to the fandom alongside Mesmerizer being picked up by content farms. The kind of people who make "twitter meme but [anime character]" images and videos. Thats kind of how I felt about Miku for a while with getting non-stop bombarded with people saying "haha mIKU pIpEbOmb" or "NO MIKU GRAB MY HAND" garbage that was never really funny imo. These people were persistent and it was kind of clear they were just in it for the memes or "look 2000s character haha". The annoying ones will go away eventually, and if not, we can ignore them. But man, are they sure annoying, aren't they?

I do deal with them better than I do proseki people because at least they somewhat focus on vocaloid.

 No.26093

>>25234
It's a tossed bag, I will say sekai fan behaviors are worse overall throughout history but the common thread here is twitter, tumblr, and other social media sites promoting lynching of anyone who doesn't conform to their worldview and expecting the creators of the songs they like to follow suit. I do think many of these toxic people will break out of their cycle once realizing how harmful their POV is or if the attitudes they showcase simply become less socially acceptable.

Regardless of them, I will always love Teto first and foremost before their behaviors effect my conscious on how I view Teto.

If all things come to pass, then this too will come to pass. Best not to focus on it and instead promote the things you find good and worthwhile in regards to Teto. If they come after that, then the next great Teto project will still be there waiting. Best not to take it seriously and let it effect your perception of your favorites.

 No.26094

>>26093
Thank you for saying this

 No.26095

>>26090
To be completely fair, I do think that a lot of these people being new, annoying and unfunny is purely by virtue of them being children. None of those traits can really be helped at their age.

Also, I honestly had no clue that 'Teto fan' was a distinct category of person who people had any widespread contempt for until I started lurking here. I guess I kinda get it because of the trendy brainrot-y connotations that she's had post-Mesmerizer. I've been kinda actively hoping for a Teto revival since the late 2010s so I probably just have a far more favorable opinion of everything surrounding her success too and I don't really feel swayed by the cringe.

 No.26096

>>26095
It's not just here. I've seen people lump these "Teto fans" in with Vocaloid fans, giving general Vocaloid fans a bad rep.

 No.26097

>>26088
he's one of those producers that you can tell hasn't had much experience with vocaloid before but i feel like that's one of the things that makes him good. i like it when non-vocaloid producers pick up vocaloid because they typically just do their own thing without being influenced by whatever's trendy within the vocaloid community itself.

 No.26098

>>26096
I'm probably just not engaged enough on social media to see much conflict going on. My perspective is likely bound to be lesser compared to someone more tuned in.

His stuff is great, I like how he's a professional that still feels like a member of the fandom. I'm surprised he still isn't considered a mainstream producer in the west (he is in China).

Switching your useragent to googlebot.

 No.27219

>>27212
That may get you blocked on some sites because Google bot is blocked on some sections or unreachable in others exposing it as a spoofed user agent so you need to do a site specific user agent change. I know this can be done in Firefox in the config but I am not sure if it can in Chrome.

>>27193
I use Grayjay and Pipepipe on mobile. It fails for some that the video itself is region locked but it works for others. I linked to their downloads on the thread I made on the topic >>19614 though I have not tried the desktop Grayjay to see how that does though because my computer sucks.

Been wondering. Is TWINDRILL a circle of 2channel dudes or is it an actual company?.

 No.27335

They’re a circle. Most anything business wise is handled by CFM.

 No.27337

>>27335
Hm, what about AHS. They made SV Teto.

 No.27339

>>27335
That's not really a correct representation, CFM is the point of commercial contact and signs off on requests from Twindrill. Twindrill still produces and coordinates licenses, especially more these days on the merch end.

 No.27346

>>27337
AHS is really just devs and some merch licensing as well. Nothing beyond that.

 No.27713

I've seen someone hating on Teto for getting too much merch lately, and it made me do a bit of research.
If we compare her with other loids who got a popularity spike, yeah, the amount of merch Teto is getting is above average.
But if we compare her to other modern "meme anime girls" like Goldship, Ame-chan, and Neco-Arc, we can see that she is REALLY below average

 No.27715

>>27713
If anything I feel like she's seriously lacking in figurines for how popular she is. It's really funny to me how even Zunda's (non GK) figurine offerings are on equal standing to Teto's if not surpassing it entirely.
