I won't lie, I've heard her Synth V voicebank so much that I've started to hate Teto, but this song reminded me that what I hate isn't Teto herself but her Synth V voicebank. Utterly soulless compared to this, which somehow sounds more like UTAU Teto than her SV does.

i think its because the voicepeak is trained on samples of her voice provider talking. SV teto is probably trained on singing, considering it sounds indistinguishable from her voice provider's singing voice (it even has the vibratos you mention):
