I think that’s different because uploading your voice can break anonymity, along with some possibly just being insecure about their singing ability (esp. if they had to sing in Japanese instead of English, which most of us don’t know), and we know how visiting a site like this could affect someone. Especially if they’re a huge Western VocaP (although I think we’re still too small to have any lurkers aside from Majin.)
For example people instantly could tell that new Nijisanji VTuber was Circus from his voice alone.

people have done singing threads on 4chan ages ago and we've had people send voice clips for projects like toriko and sena. also its not like we have a celebrity like taylor swift browsing the site that can easily be identified by their singing.
