No.2235[View All]
Thread for sharing songs you like and requesting recommendations for other songs with a similar sound/vibe.
(Adjacent to the "Music Sharing Thread" but with a different goal)
Thought I would make this thread with selfish motivations to find my own recs.
I love the tuning in this vid embed and am looking for others with the same sound.
Also for consideration:

>>16552This. DeadballP had Luka singing about having an abortion back in the day. I think the western fandom has a habit of taking Vocaloid as something to be professional when really it's all been about the shitposts. I remember when lappy released "booty shorts" and while I found it a bit tacky people were very prudish about it. The truth is that both professionals and shitposters have a place in Vocaloid.

Any essential EN Vocaloid songs made before the 2020's? Preferably songs that aren't by Circus-P or Ghost because I've heard everything from them.

>>17794https://youtu.be/ovZRtB70xtI?si=vPgilXAr84zvF-sOPitch Black Refrain (2012) by MsConstantine might've actually been the first use of Big Al I have ever heard. Sure, the song is edgy and only got 24k over the years, but I really love it and think it still holds up.
https://youtu.be/rYpNmptgvmM?si=jjEtRMC0qsnrm_rWBreaking Point (2011) feels like a forgotten song to me. It's by Crusher and Mystsaphyr and uses Kikyuune Aiko. I really love this one still
https://youtu.be/39mGP4leyfE?si=HsvCvErpFiLH8ZLIUntil the Bitter End (2010) might have actually been the first English Vocametal I have ever heard. It uses Luka and is by SweetRevengeK. Of the songs I've posted, this is my favorite. Dirty Duty and Miracle is Dead are also really, really good. The lyrics of the songs this producer made unfortunately made a few people really mad back in the day, but in my opinion it's extremely tame.

Any good synthpop reminiscent of Depeche Mode? I know ASTROPHYSICS but they don't make original songs.

vocametal anons I need help. Does some kind of remix of this song exist or did my head just make it up. I remember it being shorter (close to 3 mins) and the song was soft with mostly just gumi singing until the chorus kicks in. Also that version only had one verse and one chorus unlike this one.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e766xi73NLII think someone else made a song inspired by it and creditted it in their description which is how I found it
