No.23485
>>23483>>23482>>23481Finally, everyone can make MitchieM quality tune of Miku.
No.23487
>>23485How do you think he feels
No.23509
>>23484I saw some people (not here) doomposting about how this will be the last Miku voicebank due to how vague the wording here is but i don't think that's what they meant at all. I think what they meant is that this is the voicebank they're most satisfied with.
No.23513
>>23509There's no way people actually think that. This is Crypton we're talking about, the same company that can put Miku's face on a toaster and have it sell for a billion dollars.
No.23526
>>23509it just means that this version of miku is the most complete one, its smooth and has multilang support (which previously you had to buy like 3 different voicebanks for)
No.23607
alright i dont own miku v6 yet but listening to all the recent covers and songs with v6 i can say that i prefer it to v4, at least the english voice. i can see why crypton are so proud of it.
No.23613
Admittedly as funny as it is seeing people worry this is the last Miku bank, it does make me worry how easy a misinterpretation were to become spread by everyone so quickly. It even was spoken about by a handful of Japanese speakers.
As obvious as the answer is “no, Crypton will make more Miku banks because she makes a lot of money for the company”, it does genuinely worry me how much of the community jumps to negative conclusions near immediately. It happens way too frequently these days. Even I’m guilty as charged, but I try to approach responsibly at least.
No.23624
>>23623>The people dooming about The Last MikuNo one's doing this
No.23625
>>23623It's ok Mikubro, nothing will happen to her
No.23629
>>23623Uh, but it's not the last Miku
No.23631
>>23624Twitter lol
Admittedly the funny part of all this is that the statement causing people to think this is from Yamaha, not the company that owns her.
No.23633
>>23631I'm glad that after 12 whole years, young vocaloid fans are still ignorant about these things lol. You could pull a Kasane Teto style prank on them and get away with it.
No.23638
>>23633"Ignorant" is a little harsh, I don't fault anyone trying to read meaning out of the stilted English that comes out of Japanese corps. There's better ammo if you wanted to give western fans that color.
No.23640
>>23639The only way you can fall for this is if you're 13 or younger
No.23641
>>23638Its still highly unlikely for Crypton to discontinue their cash cow
No.23642
>>23641I don’t know if I would describe anything Vocaloid related as a cash cow. For all we know the margins are very thin.
No.23643
>>23642I mean Miku is popular enough that you can slap her face on a trash bag and it'll sell for over 100 dollars
No.23644
>>23643That being said though idk how much Crypton earn from collabs and such
No.23645
So now that Hatsune Miku V6 is out, what does /leek/ think of it?
No.23647
>>23643>>23641And again the tweet comes from Yamaha, not Crypton. So I don't think it's weird to hear people might have read some specificity from "one complete form of VOCALOID Hatsune Miku" about it being their final Miku bank or whatever even if that's hypersensitive.
No.23648
>>23645She’s a little nasally for my taste, and I think V3/V4X have a cleaner sound, but I also haven’t heard her tuned super well yet. The English is an upgrade for sure.
No.23663
>>23645It sounds like I'd expect a V6 to sound. Not amazing, not terrible, just average. I like how smooth it is and the English doesn't hurt my ears as much as the V4 and V3 do.
No.23709
>>23644I’ve been told they don’t take a lot in regards to licensed merch collabs. The other company takes in most of the profit but CFM still retains control of the IP.
No.23790
Does Miku V6 have any songs at all?
No.23828
>>23639This was really stupid and i can't believe there's a small minority that's delusional enough to think this will ever happen
No.23885
>>23828i believe anon. it's me. i believe
No.23899
>>23828i believe just because every major rhythm game has Teto songs but i can see them having a licensing issue
No.24026

No.24027
I wonder how many V6 demos we're gonna get
No.24035
>>24027as many as it takes for producers to start using her i guess lol
No.24792
So now that the dust has settled
Thoughts on miku v6?
No.24795
>>24792Too nasal but way better than NT and SP
No.24806
>>24792I liked it but they really need to get Saki to record new samples
No.26403
i'm kinda conflicted with miku v6, but overall i like her. i like how much clearer her english is, i like how she sounds close to NT (i like NT miku dont @ me) and i like a lot of aspects about her design. however, why the fuck did they make the COLLAR of her shirt white, but the rest grey?!
something about LAM's artstyle seems... odd? it looks rly polished and great but idk. maybe i just miss KEI's style. i adore how her skirt goes with SV teto.
No.26405
>>26403I actually like LAM but I miss KEI so much. I wonder why they never hired him after V2 considering he made the most popular Miku design.
No.26415
>>26414I mean it does look a bit strange like she's made out of crystals but it's not bad
