I remember seeing someone say that FF is the Ghost & Pals of this generation and they couldn't be more right, but i love their music admittedly

You thought it was Rin... but it was ME, LEN

Normal guess:
Yuki due to the pigtails and cat theme, Defoko/VFlower due to the color scheme, or Yukari due to both
Delusional theory:
Po-uta because yesterday was Porter Robinson’s birthday, they stopped posting teasers afterwards, and Jamie has an unreleased song with him. The character in the PV could be an OC instead of Po-uta himself

If their dog song was rawdog then maybe this will be welldonecat
Jokes aside, since Len's silhouette was orange then wouldn't it make sense if this song was a loid with a white primary color? I'll put my votes on Vflower for now though

I liked the song :) The snappy instrumental felt very JamieP, probably a top 3 Flavor Foley song for me
No.30941
>>30940Seems different people interpret it different. To me I see more broadly that you have to be able to take risks to be able to do things you want and be who you want to be.

Not big into FF but an Iroha song is an Iroha song and I had to check it out. Its pretty good.
No.30993
>>30940I agree. Honestly, even though in a pragmatic sense I was supposed to be the target audience for Ego Renegade Boy, I think streetcat ended up being the more resonant and emotionally powerful song and just ended up being a lot more viscerally relatable. Probably mostly because it's not as gimmick focused
No.30995
Nothing against the producers involved but i don't really get the appeal of Flavor Foley outside of the voicebank gimmick
No.31020
>>30995I don't either. I used to be a big THaB fan though, so I think a big part of the issue I have is that the genre(s) of music they go for really, REALLY aren't for me rather than a lack of talent. I can't think of a single song Jamie Page has made on her own that I enjoy. She clearly has talent, but her work isn't my thing, and as a result that bleeds into Flavor Foley and I find most of the songs "just fine" at best aside from a couple examples.
No.31023
>>30995>>31020I like most of their songs a lot, but i will admit i prefer their older songs in general. I do have this thing where they will release a new song and i'll listen to it once and think it's not so great, then i'll notice that it actually stays on my mind, like an earworm. I actually tend to listen to it a lot a few days after. I didn't think Ego Renegade Boy was that great though, but i like streetcat a lot.
That being said i can see why it's not everyone's cup of tea. The themes, presentation and melody is all very newgen imo. If you're an older fan, it's probably quite different than what you're used to and what got you into Vocaloid initially. I didn't get into Vocaloid listening to this kind of stuff, but i still find it to be enjoyable though.
They are also some of the most popular western producers, so they're important to the western scene, which i think is good. It's nice to see stuff moving in the west.
No.31027
>>30995That kind of is the main appeal of their music for me tbh and I'm fine with that. I like seeing FF songs like a really elaborate music demo project in a sense, it's just nice to know theres a music group who will always be there to make high production value English songs of lesser utilized voicebanks. It's easy to be enthusiastic enough about that on it's on merits when you're a niche voicebank autist
No.31043
>>31027I'm a niche vb autist and as much as I enjoy FF's songs i wish they had the impact to make other producers go "yeah this voicebank is cool let me use it"
No.31053
>>31043To give them credit they did it with Yi Xi but I do wish they were able to pull it off again. I was a bit disappointed that their two other most popular songs just ended up being Miku and Teto respectively even if it's to be expected
