HEY BUDDY
No.17853
When YY came out, I remember it was inescapable. At the time I was actually pretty disappointed with it since I preferred 23.exe's old music and this sounded nothing like it. But over time 23.exe's new style grew on me and so did Polygon Miku. Today there's a 23.exe shaped hole in my heart.

So did the guy quietly retire? His music was added to PJSK a while back so he has to be active still, right?

I think about this every day. The guy was very successful, dominated the late 2010s Vocaloid scene, had iconic music videos, released entire albums, and then one day he just disappears forever

I don't want it to come off as insensitive but EZFG's death recently got me thinking about producers like 23.exe who have been radio silent for years and haven't said a word. Hope he's okay.

23.exe was a lot of pre-SEKAI newbies' introduction to Vocaloid. He was sort of inescapable in the late 2010's.
For me he was not my first producer but he was what got me back into Vocaloid because as many of you know, the mid 2010's were rough.
