Can't listen to vid related if I'm in a bad mindset, hits a bit too close to home.
Siinamota's last few releases also get me on occasion.

machine love, double lariat, and cadmium colors all get me pretty weepy. last night, good night is a big one, too, but that feels like cheating since i listen to it whenever there’s a loss i’m dealing with.
>>2291same here! miku’s voice is so sweet and earnest, it’s such a moving song

Melt still gets me every time
No.21738
Not yet. I used to be very sensitive and still am but I am very numbed emotionally where music cant hit me like it used to and it is really sad it is like that for me now.
No.21739
>>21738I was also sensitive when I was younger and then later became more emotionally numb, but music is one of the few things that still makes me feel things sometimes. I can't say that I've ever cried to a Vocaloid song - at least none that I distinctly remember - if I did it was probably something nostalgia driven like Triple Baka.
I have cried to non-vocal-synth music, and this cover
>>19851 (but not the original for some reason). Something out the minimal synthesizer reminds me of a music box, I had a stuffed animal with this lullaby as a child and hearing it again sometimes makes me cry if I'm in the right mood.
No.21740
>>21739I get that. My parents have this music box which always awakened my curiosity as a kid. I don't remember what it played, and its been decades since the last time it worked, though I think it played a music box version of Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake if i'm not misremembering.
All I know is that it made me cry. But it also reminded me of mortality and how nothing lasts forever. How one day they will no longer be here, how their child - now an adult, will eventually die as well in a (hopefully) long distant future.
But anyway, I digess. I'm leaving you with this cover of Toeto.
No.21741
>>21738You should try watching the live performances, personally that brings me to tears for some reason. Other than that, I think maybe Because You’re Here and maybe ODDS&ENDS have gotten me.
No.21742
>>21739Positive and negative emotions numbed in me but i cant pinpoint exactly when. I font get frission as easily either which apparently is directly linked to emotion.
Actually now I think of it Teto Be Told, Dreams Retold by America Minyo Kenkyukai had me a little teary for some reason. S
Seems it takes very atmospheric and heavy sounds to effect me now when in last very gentle would be best at touching me and even then it still isnt the same as it used to be. I have been working on finding ways to reverse this permanently even if it means potentially making me a wreck.
>>21741Maybe since I am still able to tear up about things just it is very specific triggers now that I cant pinpoint well.
No.21744
i burned a cd to listen to when i get upset. gives me 80 minutes to be miserable, then ends with yoru no owari to motivate me to get off my ass and do something else.
as for songs that have made me cry: refraction girl. it reminds me of someone im close to. makes me afraid for her future. that and the sora no sakana samples hit me hard.
theres definitely more, but i cant recall right now. my memory is doodoo
