 No.13286

We have a thread for DiffSinger help but can we have one for general discussion about the voicebanks, songs, etc?

 No.13287

For a second i thought you made this post twice

 No.13307

I like that there is an official Ruby voicebank for it but it kinda sucks that it's private.

That dude who made Neru and Iku's new voicebanks is now doing DiffSinger for them (and a couple other 'loids). Part of me hopes they use actual voice providers and not some frankenstein of voice clips from the VP, RVC and his friend's voices again.

If the Iku and Ryona voicebanks are voiced by different people I'll be upset

In the small chance there's someone in here who has made a diffsinger can you send over the labeled audios so I can use them as a reference? I'm willing to learn how 2 diff

Found this Defoko AI port for DiffSinger. Sadly not available for download but it sounds neat.

Just sounds like a smoother version of the Defoko we all know and love. Which is not a bad thing.

Thoughts on Tori ds?

 No.13714

>>13713
love her and i'm excited for the EN release

 No.13717

Do producers use DiffSinger at all or is it somehow more niche than UTAU? I have not heard a single original song created with DiffSinger

 No.13772

>>13717
Diffsinger is a lot more niche then utau, helps that utau has been around for so long but it seems that if producers want a more realistic style they just use synthv instead. I also don't know of any original songs that use diffsinger which is a shame because some of the vbs that are out there sound pretty good in my personal opinion.

have people ported any other voicebanks to DS aside from rei and defoko?

Ruby. Though it was made by her actual voice provider and never released.

I might be biased because this site is home to me but it makes me happy to see something like Toriko AI come out of here. Diffsinger is easy to use so I'd imagine that Tori will finally start having original songs once the new version releases.

I don't think she's gonna have any original songs until the English one releases because no one here knows Japanese despite listening to Japanese music

I'll try once EN comes out

 No.15160

Anybody knows if any other big UTAUs have been ported over to Diff Singer aside from Rei, Ruko and Ritsu?

It's definitely nice to see the English community make something this big. I'm surprised 4chan never attempted anything like it, especially during the era in which 2channel's VIPPERloids were still being produced.

Holy shit, DiffSinger can sound like this?

Feels like every VIPPERLOID's fate is to end up:
a) Abandoned
b) On DiffSinger
c) On ACE STUDIO
There's a secret 4th option which is "On DiffSinger and ACE STUDIO at the same time", which is what happened to Ruko and Ritsu.

 No.19156

Lunai usually has the best quality voicebanks. You can think of them as this engine's Crypton.

How long till a DS voicebank actually takes off? I never see anyone use this engine for anything other than covers

Gahata Meiji seems to be the most popular

 No.23340

How can we make DiffSinger succeed? It's one of the best engines available. It has recognizable voicebanks such as Gahata Meiji, Yokune Ruko and Namine Ritsu. Yet it feels like no one uses it, not even for covers.

 No.23341

>>23340
The problem with DiffSinger is that on top of being a bit of a hassle to set up, none of the major producers are aware of it or appear to have any sort of interest in it. The day a DiffSinger original gets popular there may be an increase in DS users, but its all up to the producers in the end.

Also call me delusional but I think things will change a little with the release of TORIKO EN. God knows if that will ever come out, but the potential is way too big for it to not have at least a little bit of impact on the engine. Sure, she's a wholoid now, but the fully animated Spoken For cover and all the people here saying they'll make songs with her once EN drops gives me hope.

 No.23342

>>23341
That doesn't sound too far fetched. I just hope her voicebank drops eventually because so far both Voxsoft and the voice provider have been radio silent, but I assume it's because of Sena DS

 No.23359

>>23341
It's not hard to set up, just use the Lunai fork of OpenUTAU and drag and drop the Diffsinger onto it

I had the idea for a joke leeka that sounds like this a while back but i don't think it'd be doable now

 No.25064

Is there such thing as a Jinriki DiffSinger the way there are Jinriki UTAUs?

 No.25065

>>25064
yeah but the community looks down on it due to its similarities with those RVC voicebanks that are made without the VP's consent.

however, there are ethical ones like adachi rei and denka shaa (made with the creator's consent plus made up of non-human samples), and supposedly that new acme iku diffsinger that's going around was trained on her maidloid audio and might be made with StudioS' consent.

 No.25888

Is there a voicebank that 'defines' this engine like Vocaloid has Miku and UTAU has Teto?

 No.25892

>>25888
Too early to say because DiffSinger is still pretty new and not many big producer use it.
Right now it seems to be Gahata Meiji but I could totally see Toriko taking her place if her voicebank got sound quality related updates, new singing modes and multilang support (more than just JP/EN)

 No.25893

>>25892
Those things are all planned but progress will be slow, her voice provider can't be out here recording every single day of her life.

 No.25894

>>25893
In an unexpected turn of events it could also be Akita Neru considering her NEO voicebank is already popular and an AI one would obviously be even more popular since they're all the rage in the vsynth space right now.

 No.25901

>>25888
Teto took over SV also if you think about it

 No.25923

>>25893
Multilang aside from English and Japanese is planned?

 No.25937

>>25923
I think her voice provider said something like that but i don't wanna put words in her mouth
