It seems NND is hosting an event for TT's birthday where users will upload original content (primarily songs I'm guessing) involving our beloved clanker.
From the looks of it they have also done this with other Vocaloids.

>https://vocasphere.net/2025/11/on-intl-concerts-returning-to-vocaloid-for-ia-v6-interview-with-1st-place/Old article but still relevant
>M: Out of pure curiosity, are IA and OИE officially close friends with any other vocal synth characters, such as Yuzuki Yukari? ...>KM: We don’t particularly emphasize it, but during CeVIO PARTY, we received a proposal for “YukaIA” from Yuzuki Yukari’s team, and since fans would enjoy it, we gladly collaborated. ...>Also, since Yuzuki Yukari is a contemporary, she appeared as a guest at IA’s 10th anniversary concert.YukaIA is canon from both sides.
>M: We are very, very excited about VOCALOID 6 IA -ARIA ON THE PLANETES-! What factors led to the decision to bring IA back to VOCALOID after 12 years of software on other vocal synth engines?>KM: ... We consider VOCALOID, CeVIO, and CeVIO AI each to provide different values that expand IA’s vocals. IA’s VOCALOID is positioned as the standard for IA, with smooth articulation, clear singing voice, and a normal voice bank that handles a wide variety of singing styles and approaches. On the other hand, CeVIO AI is positioned as an expansion of IA’s vocals that’s closer to the singing approach and voice quality of the voice source Lia, meaning it can create more human-like singing and nuances. So, it’s not about returning to VOCALOID, but rather adding to it—that might be the correct recognition.I guess they won't ever take IA's V3 out of the store, then. Hopefully Yamaha will not make V3 obsolete in the next few engines.
No.16421

Realistically, for most Japanese people, reading questions in English and replying in English is quite a hurdle.
Without the tech advances of the past few years, doing a Q&A in English would’ve been impossible for me too. Even in Japanese, it’s hard to keep answering questions one after another from multiple people—so in another language, it’s even tougher.
Unless someone was already good at English, or is willing to lean on tools and try anyway, it’s totally understandable to hesitate. If you imagine dropping into a Japanese board and answering Japanese questions in Japanese, you’ll get pretty much the same feeling.

I’m truly grateful to all of you.
No.17166
>>17164I think its interesting that you decided to post on 39chan instead of a place like 4chan, which is sort of like the English equivalent to 2channel (community-wise, because functionality wise its closer to Futaba Channel). But this is almost exclusively a Vocaloid site so I guess it makes sense.
Reddit doesn't have the greatest reputation in the west (especially on Imageboard sites like this), but I guess it's an okay option to discover music or see different opinions.

>>17166The only thing I really use Reddit for nowadays is introducing newgens to old or obscure songs, because there's so many of them who genuinely want to learn and people keep posting the obvious things, so I want to introduce them to maybe a couple obvious things at most, while the rest of the list is either wholoids, whoducers, or just so old most people forgot about it. It's especially fun with Western Vocaloid, because the WVF has a lot of music that's forgotten and gets buried for 10+ years, whereas I see it's more common for the Japanese side to have old songs get brought back. The most pushback I've gotten in the Vocaloid sub is from exceptionally catty literal whos who think they're better than everyone, especially me, but that's the only sub on Reddit I've seen where they're the minority. The UTAU sub is fucking awful though I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy, provided you don't get banned for breathing wrong.
