>>24524lol supposedly it all went to where they said it went to but I’m not entirely sure it’s the full story. Especially since their programmer supposedly left. I won’t lie, everything I’ve heard rumour mill wise since last year has been a disaster. I reasonably can’t say everything because if something is true I wouldn’t want to get anyone in trouble. All I can say is I’ve almost completely lost faith in the project.

That said some of the companies at least include merchandise to make up for the lack of disc like VoiSona. Then of course you have the SV2 physicals that have a disc but are pointless to begin with because you have to download the bank from the cloud in editor anyways.

No.24644
>>24642This is basically the case for some physicals with discs these days. If you reach out to support as well, usually they’re happy to send the respective installer as well. So it’s possible to get away with not using the disc at all before factoring in fan managed archives. Basically these days it’s more about having a physical backup more than anything.

>>24835I had to go look myself and see what you mean. The domain is indeed expired. Vrilliant was assumed who’d be handling Ann and Al too.
I’m not entirely certain what happened here. I do have a few ideas ranging from simply not renewing the domain to a company shut down but after the announcement I’d be surprised that they didn’t leave a statement.
There is one particular thing I am aware of that could very well be a factor, however I’m not sure if I should divulge…
At the rate things are deteriorating I am actually praying this project gets cancelled… It feels like every bit of new information that surfaces, public or not, just screams worse than hell.

I am very much at odds with myself because on one hand I do feel it’s important that people know as it’s becoming more and more relevant as time progresses but also I don’t want to get friends who are dear to me in trouble.
It is really tearing me apart, so if there is anyone on the Maghni team reading this (and I hope one of them are reading this), please come forward and share all the problems behind the scenes that are halting further developments, updates, and keeping everyone silent. I really can’t take this anymore and it’s driving me crazy and tearing me apart. It went from too much transparency to none at all. It’s been almost 6 years, it’s time for the veil to break. I am on my knees…🙏😓

>>24875I don't think a Maghni employee would go on 39chan of all places. Though at the same time if they did they could possibly get away with spilling the beans since a lot of "important" people use 4chan in similar ways, to reveal confidential stuff and leak source codes, etc. It's be a matter of choosing to believe the anon or not.

>>24877Idk if any of them would be here or not, all I can say is a good handful of these people have been fans as long as me but partook in older fandom spaces like VO.
It’s also like, I know very well that some vsynth devs (globally, not specifically western) actually do lurk a lot more fandom spaces than we often realize. So it’s more an off-chance and sort of vent type thing. I’m just tired…

No.24912
>>24910I feel like 39chan's a bit niche for it to be noticed by the big names but the creator of Neru himself is a frequent poster here so idk, I could be wrong.
No.24913
>>24879I wouldn’t say 5. It is still a small team. Idk how many are currently part of the team and who’s left for sure and who’s stayed on, but the number of people actively working keeps changing. So there is a chance that if a team member were to come forward it could be someone who isn’t publicly known and only the team could narrow it down.
It’s pretty easy to tell a majority of the issues boils down to poor management just from a surface level perspective. I can’t say which people have left, but there have been public faces that have left according to my own reliable sources. I don’t remember if it was mentioned in this thread before by myself or someone else but I recall back in October when people started getting vocal about things, that some people who were previously commissioned by the team stated the programmer (who I believe is still listed on the site) left the company.
No.24914
>>24912It's not as obscure and niche as some people here make it seem. A small part of the western fandom is already aware of the Leekaloids even if they don't post here (similar to how we know the Vipperloids but don't post on 2ch). Hioka has also done two Q&As here which has made the site more "visible" in a way.
Besides 39chan doesn't have the same rep as other imageboards like 4chan where it's generally seen as this evil hideout for nazis and fappers so it's probably more accessible to people who normally don't use these types of sites.
No.24915
>>24914I learned about 39 after I heard about Canon mentioning recording naked in that one q&a and after I lurked as an anon for a good while I got the vibe that we were all old coots in terms of vocafans who just wanted a comfy place to properly converse about our favourite subject. That alone is much more attractive than some other spaces these days.
