So i'm not a coder but i had an idea for a website where you can upload an utau voicebank with images and tags and it'd work similarly to a booru. The idea is that you could use this website to discover and download UTAUs since doing that was a bit of a pain in the ass back in the day and still kinda is due to link rot and UTAU wiki users not tagging their stuff properly. Thoughts?.

Things don't last forever. As much as it sucks, this "2nd golden age" of Vocaloid will eventually come to an end and bring us back to where we were 10 years ago. So with that said, when we inevitably return to the "dark times", what do you think will happen and what could save the scene?.

DiffSinger is an AI vocal synthesizer built for both speech and singing. In a nutshell it's like a Synthesizer V AI voicebank but user-generated which can be loaded in OpenUTAU.

where to find HQ original supercell songs?
I don't really know if its widely known but a lot of supercell's older miku songs are pretty different from the album releases as they were remastered a few times. I was trying to find the original version of love is war in high quality (mainly because I think each remaster made it worse), but after an hour or two of looking through soulseek I stumbled upon a folder that had low quality versions of the art featured in the 2008 music video and a higher quality lossy mp3 file of the song (along with some other stuff like an instrumental). I couldn't find any of the other songs like this and when I asked the soulseek uploader he told me that it was apart of a VRMC torrent, and that he thinks it was originally something supercell put up for download way back then. It's worth mentioning stuff like the official melt PV in HD is considered "lost media" and probably wasn't uploaded anywhere in higher quality than 480p so it's making me doubt that the original versions of the songs weren't uploaded beyond lossy mp3/compressed format. Posting this here because I don't really know where else to look

I love Kaito for many reasons. Mainly because of his voice, but also because my memories of listening to him sing go so far back that his tone and intonation are familiar to me in the way that my mother's is. I found Vocaloid when I was about 8 or 9. I loved clockwork, automatons, and folk instruments as a child, and felt very drawn to him because of his association with those motifs at the time. After years of only listening, I bought him when I was in high school. I had no idea what I was doing, and had no musical experience due to having very poor motor coordination and auditory processing issues. He was my motivation to learn to understand music and to sing myself, and became an emotional outlet for expressing all of my joys and struggles over the years. I'm in my mid 20s now. I've outgrown friendships, romantic partners, jobs, shed and rebuilt many aspects of my own self, but that feeling of love and solace never seems to fade.
What about your own brings you joy and comfort, anons? What bonds you to them? I'd like to share in that warmth with you all.

App wise on Android I primarily use PipePipe (previously called AnimePipe) as is which is a fork of NewPipe that you can watch YouTube, Niconico and Bilibili videos on. I have noticed YouTube often blocks my IP so I have to reset my IP and watch some videos in YouTube's app letting some ads through to work again for that. Niconico features breaks a lot but they still are development so often it gets fixed in a few days, this is due to the site often changing how it embeds videos.

I thought of making a vocaloid game
So i've been thinking of making a Doom mod where you can choose your favorite vocaloids with their own unique abilities and fight other players in a map, or you can also play co op on regular doom maps and rip and tear some demon butt. AH-SOFTWARE's "Songs Love" Concert
Hi /leek/, has anyone here heard of "Songs Love"? Between 2015-2017 AH-Software did a few hologram concerts with their vocaloids at some anime conventions in Japan and Europe. The lineup was actually pretty big and consisted of Yuzuki Yukari, Nekomura Iroha, Tohoku Zunko, Hiyama Kyoteru, Kaai Yuki, Miki and Macne Nana as well as Chihiro Ishiguro who voices Yukari. Since I'm a huge fan of both Yuki and Yukari I decided to do some digging to see if I could find a full video of at least one of the concerts. Typically when Vocaloid concerts happen you can usually find the whole thing on YouTube from start to finish but that's not the case with Songs Love. Most of it is in fact LOST.

At most, I've only ever seen some scammers on ebay selling Pirated vbs and editors as legit copies before, but that's not really bootleg in the same way you would find a bloated bootleg copy of Windows that claims to be a new version no one's ever heard of before. At most, I've only really seen bootleg merch.

ever since mesmerizer blew up i can't help but notice that a lot of the new vocaloid songs coming out follow a similar formula. seems like many producers lately are coming out with a miku and teto song that has an easily tiktokable chorus. (candycookiechocolate for example)
this doesn't apply to just 32ki but his recent songs are very obviously trying to ride the coattails of mesmerizer. what are your thoughts on this? i included my favorite song from 32ki pre-mesmerizer
not to say there aren't some pretty great songs coming out recently of course

As we already know, it's impossible for filthy 39chan gaijin to fake a VOCALOID the same way VIPPERs did Teto, Tei, Ruko and the rest. But it's entirely possible to fake a voicebank for another engine like SV, V6, Cevio and Voisona (though the latter two would likely not gain much notoriety if carried out by westerners).
One of the ideas raised in the original thread was to create an RVC or Diffsinger based on an anon's voice.
I genuinely believe this might not be that hard to pull off. 39ch isn't a huge site so it's not like many people would snitch on us and making an AI voicebank these days is piss easy.

I'm mostly into instrumental electronic music myself, but over the last few years I developed a certain taste for vocaloid music. I have no idea about community alignment though. So I wanted to ask if this particular kind of stuff that I especially enjoy - mostly idm/drill-n-bass/glitch/uk-garage adjacent vocaloids - is actually considered proper vocaloid music in the community. One thing I noticed is stuff like this never really gets anywhere near as popular as simple pop songs. So what's your opinion about this kind of stuff?
