I2P is a pain to set up and use, compared to the convenience of the Tor Browser and Tor-hidden services. I2P is also laughably susceptible to IP-based censorship.

 No.27436

>>27429
You can use i2p to torrent. You can't use TOR to torrent because lack of UDP support iirc. Using i2p on torrents you hide your IP from seeders and leechers so having an eepsite makes more sense because otherwise users will expose their IP and deanonymize themselves as soon as they try to seed or leech. I mean nothing stops them from using both but having an eepsite with torrents that only have i2p seeders is an overall better plan. Only someone who does not understand this or has ulterior motives would set up a TOR hidden service with torrents and not care for how the users protect themselves. Fact i2p is more to set up because no i2p browser currently but nothing stops someone from doing something like that. As for censorship unless I am mistaken I think that mainly applies to clearnet sites since it has so few nodes connecting to it which makes it easy to block but when it is just i2p it is a closed network making it difficult to block because not every connection is known. It was never meant to access clearnet sites or at least no one uses it for that, instead they connect to eepsites. Both eepaites and tor hidden services are blockable but for different reasons. Eepsites are still less vulnerable than clearnet sites. Correct me if I am wrong. Hyphanet is the one that is more at risk of exploits iirc.

What makes your favorite 'loid special to you, anons? I'm curious what makes everyone feel their own connection.

I love Kaito for many reasons. Mainly because of his voice, but also because my memories of listening to him sing go so far back that his tone and intonation are familiar to me in the way that my mother's is. I found Vocaloid when I was about 8 or 9. I loved clockwork, automatons, and folk instruments as a child, and felt very drawn to him because of his association with those motifs at the time. After years of only listening, I bought him when I was in high school. I had no idea what I was doing, and had no musical experience due to having very poor motor coordination and auditory processing issues. He was my motivation to learn to understand music and to sing myself, and became an emotional outlet for expressing all of my joys and struggles over the years. I'm in my mid 20s now. I've outgrown friendships, romantic partners, jobs, shed and rebuilt many aspects of my own self, but that feeling of love and solace never seems to fade.

What about your own brings you joy and comfort, anons? What bonds you to them? I'd like to share in that warmth with you all.

I would assume its because of the harassment but artists in general have a tendency to delete everything for no reason, especially Japanese ones.

 No.27349

I recently saw a this video that talked about a way of finding lost media from cache's that did not properly delete and some program had been developed to search it and they have a form you can fill out to make requests.
https://sindexmon.github.io/decache

Also here is a Japanese internet archive site that may hold some stuff Wayback Machine from Internet Archive does not. Looks like the site has existed since 2012 when I checked whois info.
https://gyo.tc/
Also available at this url which has existed since 2005 so it may be their archives go back that far. However it also appears they have a paid feature for private archives so some things might not be accessible.

The "wine grape" 951051FF would have looked better in a sort of plum I think. Matches the shade of Miku's hair if more on purple side than kind of red. Am I wrong? I mean, i like her design and the effort that's been put into voicebank, the whole "denpa visual novel in development" thing felt kinda weird tho.. It's just that i am a fan of denpa vn's, and it's a thing where to be denpa it has to evoke a specific feelings within the reader, like melancholy, loneliness, detachment. All the stuff that are believed to be present in denpa's (mystery, horror, maybe slight sci-fi or lovecraftian shenanigans) can be there and not still not be denpa.

OP here, and yes the second anon is right I saw it on Twitter. Lofter requires you to have either a Chinese phone number or a Chinese email and I don't have either. I know there's a workaround with weibo but I already have too many emails... The best I can do is write my own short fanfiction here. Listen to vidrel for full immersion.

DECO*27 had finished his part of the collab with PinocchioP. All was left was to mix and master. For some reason though, DECO*27 couldn't bring it upon himself to press send. DECO*27 was so preoccupied that he didn't notice he was holding his breath until he finally bit the bullet and pressed the enter key. "God, what a drag..." DECO*27 thought to himself. "I hope PinocchioP and everyone will enjoy our collab song '(Not) A Devil.'" Unbeknownst to the listeners and PinocchioP, the meaning of the song meant a lot to DECO*27. It was the culmination of DECO*27's feelings to PinocchioP...

I'm late but there's just the same negative opinions on AI as over here. Although sometimes I see people express their disdain for it as if their opinion is like... not necessarily controversial but just overpowered by how prevalent it is anyways? I have seen more fandom types in China who have posted AI kuso so I presume the backlash is a little less outspoken with some non-artists compared to English speaking online spaces.

Generally speaking I've weirdly never heard of this engine brought up in Chinese voca-spaces at all. I only notice Yi Xi being their darling posterchild in terms of Chinese vocal synths and most people just gravitating more to English and Japanese songs anyways. I haven't even seen the other faceless Chinese Dreamtonics getting any attention, which is kind of disappointing.

Let's have a thread for Vocaloid vidyagames that aren't Project Diva/Sekai. I recently came across this Vocaloid fangame called After School-A Vocaloid RPG by Edlinklover which looks absolutely insane.
>Playing as Oliver, you find yourself in a "Spirit World," an alternate dimension hosted by a single corrupted spirit. You meet new characters, and help spirits along the way while keeping an eye out for the corrupted host spirit. The player must help Oliver escape this world safely, while navigating the dangers it throws his way.

I have not played it yet but I love rpg maker games and I love the art style. Will probably update this thread with my thoughts once I finish it.

Never heard of this. Does it use 3D models or videos?

 No.26814

>>26813
No, it usually uses downloaded yt videos, the downside is that you have to download everything yourself.

I could've sworn hisokeee used to have a tutorial video for it but either way I can't find it. Have gameplay from him instead

>you need to join a dicksword server to download the chart editor
why do people do this

A lot of the WVF and modding communities are both control freaks so I'm not shocked
