Music streaming services are attacking AI generated content. On one hand its good that action is being taken against the sea of shit Suno has unleashed, but on the other, Vocaloid is being affected as well just by the fact that the songs use "fake" vocals. What does /leek/ think of this?.

The weird, obscure and experimental side of Vocaloid Mikudayo 04/24/26 (Fri) 08:02:14 No.23976 [Reply]

Recently I've been really into experimental or conceptual Vocaloid projects. Watashi no Koko for example pushes the limits of the LalaVoice engine and experiments with themes such as death and being forgotten through the eyes of the protagonist named Lala. Another one I enjoy is Project FRUITY, which uses FL Studio's speech plugin (yes, the actual thing, not a jinriki) for the vocals.

Do things like these still exist? The closest thing I can think of that's quite recent is Iruka no Yume de Sayounara by ATOLS but that's not even Vocaloid, its just made by a Vocaloid producer.

Details fading fast so this wont have much to it but seems the dream revolved around some things I have been going through. TT-chan somehow was at my house and there was something that happened I cant recall and last part of the dream she drove off and I ran out to her barefoot on my driveway (it is a long driveway) and she stopped and got out and ran to me too and we jumped into each others arms and hugged tight her comforting me, I think I leaned in to kiss her and she pushed me back some and I apologized for misreading the timing. Then after I recall being messaged how nice it was to meet me and how they hope for us to be closer or something along those lines.

Hi /leek/, I've recently come up with a concept for a project where we take cancelled voicebanks (think Sonika v4, Suzune Ring, etc) and create derivatives of them with new names, new voices and redesigns which, although different, still keep some important aspects of their original designs. I call it the Reincarnation Project because the idea is that these "dead" Vocaloids are being reincarnated and given a new life, a second opportunity.
This project would be completely separate from the Leekaloids. The only thing they'd have in common is the community making them.

So i'm not a coder but i had an idea for a website where you can upload an utau voicebank with images and tags and it'd work similarly to a booru. The idea is that you could use this website to discover and download UTAUs since doing that was a bit of a pain in the ass back in the day and still kinda is due to link rot and UTAU wiki users not tagging their stuff properly. Thoughts?.
