 No.3

Today i had Hata Ramune (picrel) for the first time The taste is hard to describe, it's almost like an alcoholic pineapple drink except without any alcohol. It also had a small crystal ball inside which i kept. Pineapple isnt the only flavor that exists, I also saw grape and a couple others.

I want to find one…! Also I assume the ball is like the typical ramune marbles? How'd you get it out?

Has anyone here tried Sake? If so how does it compare to Beer? Does it taste the same? Is it stronger/weaker?

Yuzu is so good! I like candies and tea with it too. Lychee is great as well.
I like Asian alcohol like sochu and rice beer, been a long time since I've had any but I feel the itch for it.

 No.56

They should've made the drink blue

If you put sake in a freezer for 24 hours, does it become "solid sake"?

 No.67

>>50
I'm a very occasional drinker but it doesn't taste anything like beer. There's a lot of variety too. Some are incredibly smooth and easy to drink, some will put some hair on your chest. I've had it served hot at restaurants but typically have it chilled if I have it at home. The kinds I've tried have all been fairly inexpensive, would strongly recommend try some different kinds.

 No.106

Are you team lemon, team orange or team pineapple?

 No.107

>>106
I have never tasted orange ramune so if i had to choose i would go with orange

I wanna try pineapple

I had pineapple it's good

I drink Sake whenever I drink (which isn't often tbf.)
It's kinda whatever, it's more of a liquor than a beer type of drink. Pretty rough especially if you're drinking cheap shit but flavored Sake is quite nice. I would recommend Yuzu sake especially.
>>12
I drink it often because it helps my tummy not feel miserable
>>106
For me, it's Melon.

Typical energy drink, milder than a standard Monster. I bought two of these at a Donki, forgot I had one still full at HND, and slammed the whole thing just before security so I could keep the can.

 No.266

>>265
Really sounds like the type of drink I'd buy just to keep the can. Few years ago I startef collecting cans based on rarity / design. Got a couple Japanese ones that have characters but none of them are Miku.

 No.267

>>266
They're mainly marketing to the earthy holistic crowd (no artificial sweeteners) but I can't say I really noticed in the taste. I'd consider myself a energy drink enjoyer stateside, which has probably more variety than even Japan, but I can't say I've paid much mind to GO&FUN outside of the Racing Miku stuff. Japan's health varieties like Oronamin relly fill the niche already. Miku's a good way to keep their foot in the door I guess.

 No.293

Bump. Any drinks that are actually worth trying?. I want something lifechanging.

Ramune is good. Not anything special but good.

Technically not /j/, but still an asian drink. Does anybody know what this is and why it tastes like Pepsi flavored water?. I bought it thinking it was just regular zero sugar Pepsi but with a cool bottle but it tastes completely different.

That's Chinese not Japanese but it's sold in Japan as well. It's "Pepsi Raw" and it's exactly what the name suggests.

 No.388

>>387
I have had some before but the taste is pretty unremarkable and even cola flavored ramune is better

 No.389

On the topic of Ramune is it just me or they made it impossible to take out the tiny ball now?

 No.390

>>389
still possible, git good

 No.391

I still havent tried Ramune or any asian drinks in general. Easier to get my hands on snacks than drinks other than Ramune too.

What does the raw suggest? Unprocessed sugar?

From the wikipedia page
>An unrelated product named Pepsi Nama (Nama meaning "Raw" in Japanese) was launched in 2021 by Suntory, the Japanese distributor of Pepsi, where the cola spices are not heated and therefore natural; later in 2023, PepsiCo China released a Zero Sugar version of it with the English name as "Pepsi Raw"

 No.399

>>395
That's weird. I didn't know they heated the spices to begin with.

File: 1783433445870.jpg(90.03 KB, 640x853, Lipovitan.jpg)

I just discovered this energy drink called Lipovitan that looks like a cough syrup bottle.

 No.672

>>671
They're marketed as health drinks. There are tons exactly like this because many of them are made by pharmaceutical companies.

 No.673

>>672
That's cool actually. I keep hearing that energy drinks have a negative impact on your health (though as far as i know overconsumption of caffeine is the root of the problem) but to see one advertised for having positive effects, that's new to me. If I ever go to Japan I'll make sure to try one.

 No.675

>>671
I wonder if it tastes like medicine, because I like the taste of things like cough syrup but hate the side effects.
